Konya ili Cihanbeyli İlçesi'nde anlatılan masalların çocuk eğitimi açısından incelenmesi

Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim okullarında eğitim gören öğrencilerin özellikle Türkçe dersi ve ilgili diğer derslerin işlenişinde, masalların çocukları hangi yönde geliştirebileceklerini ve masalların çocuk eğitimine ne gibi katkıları olabileceğini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Masalların eğitim ve öğretime etkileri ve çocukların gelişiminde ne gibi olumlu katkıları olabileceği incelenmiştir. nceleme esnasında eğitim ve önemi, çocuk eğitimi ve önemi, çocuk edebiyatı, masalın tanımı, masalın çocuk eğitimindeki önemi hakkında özet bir bilgilendirilmeye gidilmiştir. Ayrıca araştırmanın yapıldığı ilçenin genel yapısı hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Bu araştırmanın evrenini Cihanbeyli ilçesinde anlatılan masallar oluşturmaktadır. Edinilen masalların büyük bir kısmı yaygın bir şekilde kullanılan, bildik masallardan oluşmaktadır. Masalların dinlenildiği kişilerin genç olması, orijinal masallara ulaşmamızı zorlaştırmıştır. Araştırmada elliüç (53) masal, yaklaşık yirmidört (24) unsur göz önünde bulundurularak incelenmiştir. nceleme esnasında masalların kısa özetleri de sunularak, masalın içeriği hakkında genel bir bilgilendirmeye gidilmiştir. Masalları incelerken göz önünde bulundurulan kriterlerin bazıları şunlardır: şlenen masalın çocuğa, milli kültüre dair kazandırdıkları var mıdır? Varsa nelerdir? Masalın çocuğun üretkenliğine herhangi bir katkısı var mıdır? Masal, çocuğun olumlu bir kişilik kazanmasına yardımcı oluyor mu? Masal, çocuğa, millet, vatan, bayrak kavramlarını çağrıştırıyor mu? Masal çocuğa, kitap sevgisi aşılıyor mu? şlenen masal çocuk eğitiminde kullanılabilir mi? Çocuk eğitiminde oldukça önemli bir yere sahip olan masallar, bazı olumsuz bakış açılarına rağmen, iyi bir seçicilikle çocukların bireysel ve toplumsal gelişimlerine katkıda bulunması açısından değerlendirilerek, örgün eğitimin önemli bir unsuru haline getirilebileceğini ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Eğitimin temel elemanı olan çocukların, klasik yöntemlerle bilginin öğretmen tarafından sunularak kazandırılması yerine, eğitime aktif birer elaman olarak katılmaları daha başarılı olmalarını sağlamaktadır. Aktif katılımın en önemli araçlarından biri olan masal, çocuğun katılımı açısından iyi bir alan oluşturmaktadır. Çocuk masalda anlatılan olayları, kendini kahramanın yerine koyarak yaşama şansına sahiptir. Buda çocukta öğrenmeyi kalıcı kılmakta ve unutma olasılığını en aza indirgemektedir.
The aim of this study is to set forth what kind of contributions of fairy tales there are to education of primary students and in which way they progress the children especially in Turkish Lesson. The affection of fairy tales to education and teaching, and what kind of positive contribution there are to children?s progress have been examined. During the examination, it has been given summary information about importance of education and teaching, children education and its importance, children literature, identifying of fairy tale, the importance of fairy tale on children education. The universe of this study is the fairy tales which are told in Cihanbeyli sub-province. At the examination, 53 (Fifty three) fairy tale, approximately 24 (twenty four) elements have been considered. During the examination, short brief of fairy tales has been submitted and brief content of fairy tales have been given. While examining the fairy tales, some criteria has been considered as follows: Is there anything that examined fairy tales make gain to children, national culture? If there is what are they? Is there any contribution of fairy tale to productivity of children? Does the fairy tale contribute positively to make positive personality of children? Does fairy tale evoke nation, homeland, and flag concepts to the children? Does the fairy tale inspire book love to the children? Despite of some negative views, the fairy tales which have an important place at children education will be evaluated in respect of their contributions to individual and social developments of children when they were selected with well selectivity; we tried to set forth that it can be an important element of day education. In spite of gaining the information to the children by teachers in classical methods, to participate the children who are basic elements of education as active individuals and making them more successful are being provided. One of the important tools of active participating is fairy tales; it composes a good area in respect of participating of children. The children have opportunity to live the hero at the fairy tale in his/her place. This makes the learning permanent and decreases forgetting possibility to minimum.
