Özet
Bu makalede 26 Ağustos 1896 tarihinde bir grup Ermeni Komiteci tarafından kendi siyasi isteklerini hayata geçirmek için gerçekleştirilen Osmanlı Bankası Baskını Rus arşiv belgelerinin ışığında ele alınmıştır. Her ne kadar Osmanlı Bankası baskını bütün teferruatıyla literatürde bilinse de olayın gerçekleşmesinden sonra yaşanan olaylar ve İstanbul’daki durum hususunda tartışmalar günümüze kadar taşınmıştır. Baskın sırasında ve sonrasında gerçekleşen olaylar özellikle İstanbul’da Osmanlı toplumunun ayrışmasında da etkili oldu. Osmanlı Bankası Baskını ile ilgili olarak bilimsel literatürde birçok farklı kaynaktan faydalınmışsa da Rus kaynaklarının bir katkısı bulunmamaktaydı. İşte bu makale ile bazı Rus arşiv belgeleri ve kaynakları ile konu irdelenmeye çalışılarak literatüre bir katkı sunulmaya çalışılmıştır.
In this article, the Ottoman Bank Raid on August 26, 1896, by a group of Armenian Committee members to realize their own political wishes is discussed in the light of Russian archive documents . Although the Ottoman Bank raid is a well-known issue with all its details, the discussions about the events occurred after this incidence and the discussions about the occupation in Istanbul have survived to the present day. The events during and after the raid were also effective in the separation of the Ottoman society, especially in Istanbul. Although the academic literature has benefited from many different sources in relation to the Ottoman Bank Raid, Russian sources have not been used yet. With this article, the subject has been discussed in the light of some Russian archive documents and resources, and a contribution has been made to the literature
