Bununla birlikte 180 serumun % 0.55' inde antikor tespit edilmedi. Anahtar Kelimeler: süt sığırı, solunum sistemi virusları, seroloji, ELISA.
In this research, dairy cattle from Konya and its surrounding, in the past which have respiratory system symptoms were investigated for seroprevalence of the infections for Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR), Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV), Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV), Parainfluenza Virus type 3 (PIV-3) and Bovine Adenovirus type 3 (BAV-3). For that purpose, one year old and over, the blood samples were taken by the 180 animals which bred in the private farms were investigated. These samples were tested for the presence of antibodies against IBR, BVDV, BRSV, PIV-3 and BAV-3 by means of a commercially available Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). At the end of the serological control by ELISA, specific antibody presence was detected against IBR in 46 (25.55%), BVDV in 173 (96.11%), BRSV in 172 (95.55%), PIV-3 in 164 (91.11%) and BAV-3 in 150 (83.33%) animals. In the cattle tested for antibodies, 1.66% were positive for only one virus, 3.33% of sera had antibodies to two viruses, 17.22% of sera had antibodies to three viruses, 54.44% of sera had antibodies to four viruses and 22.77% of sera had antibodies to five viruses. However antibodies were not detected in 0.55% of the 180 sera.
