Abstract
Mesleki ve teknik eğitimim esas gayesi, bireye belli bir iş için ihtiyaç duyulan terakki, bilgi, kabiliyet ve uygulama yeterliliği kazandırmaktır. Buna bağlı olarak, gelişmiş ülkelerde mesleki ve teknik eğitim özel bir öneme sahiptir. Türkiye’de Meslek Yüksekokulları artan kalifiye insan gücünü karşılamak için tesis edilen en önemli eğitim kuruluşlarından biridir. Bir teknikerin teknik bir elamandan daha fazla teorik bilgi ve bir mühendisten daha fazla uygulama becerisine sahip olması hedeflenmektedir. Bu sebeple, gerçekleştirilecek olan üniversite-endüstri işbirliği ile öğrenciler eğitimlerinin bir kısmını endüstriye dayalı öğretim şeklinde endüstride gerçekleştirmeli, bu eğitim sadece yaz dönemi stajı olarak değil, fakat aynı zamanda mevcut eğitim dönemi içine de yayılmalıdır. Öğrenciler endüstriyel kuruluşlarda sıradan bir stajyer öğrenci gibi değil, kısmi-süreli bir Stajyer Araştırma Öğrencisi olarak değerlendirilmeli ve endüstriyel kuruluşlara, Meslek Yüksekokullarında kurulacak olan Stajyer Komisyonu tarafından yerleştirilmelidir.
The main purpose of vocational and technical education is to provide the individuals gain; knowledge, ability, and practice sufficiency which are needed for particular occupation. According to that, in the developed countries vocational and technical education has special importance. In Turkey, Vocational High Schools are one of the most important education institutions established to meet raising qualified human power. It is aimed that a technician is to have more theoretical knowledge than technical man, and more practice ability than engineers. Therefore, the students with the achieved cooperation between university and industry will carry out the part of their educations in industry as industrial-based education, however this education is not being summer term probation, but also it is widened to their current education term. Thus, the students in industrial companies are not considered as an ordinary probation, they also appreciated as a part-time Probationer Research Student and should be placed to the industrial companies by the Probationer Board will be established in Vocational High Schools.
