| dc.description.abstract | Bu tez çalışmasının konusu, 2002-2023 seneleri arasında kalan dönemde Türkiye'de savunma sanayiinin gelişiminin incelenmesidir. Buna yönelik olarak; Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nde 2002 ila 2023 arasındaki periyotta savunma sanayiinde yaşanan gelişmeler millî teknoloji hamlesi bağlamında değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, genel anlamıyla Türkiye'nin savunma sanayiinde son 21 senede yaşanan gelişmelerin millî savunma stratejileri ile son dönemde ortaya konulan millî teknoloji hamlesi bağlamında incelenmesi ve bu gelişimin küresel ölçekteki etkilerine dair bilgiler sunulması amaçlanmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra, Türkiye'nin bölgesel ve hatta ileride küresel bir askeri güç olma yolunda ilerleyebilmesi için millî teknoloji hamlesi kapsamında teknoloji odaklı geliştirilen savunma sanayii unsurlarının önemi vurgulanmıştır. Çalışma, Türkiye'de 2002'den sonra savunma sanayiinde yaşanan gelişmelerle beraber, silah, araç ve teçhizatlardaki yerlileşme ve millîleşme seviyesinin analizi bakımından önem arz etmektedir. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin savunma sanayiinde 2002-2023 yılları arasında göstermiş olduğu gelişmeye odaklanılmış olsa da, savunma sanayiinin gelişimi, Osmanlı Devleti'nden itibaren ele alınarak Türk savunma sanayiindeki faaliyetlerin de önemine değinilmiş ve çalışmanın içeriği zenginleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, küresel bazda önemli devletlerin savunma sanayii ve teknoloji gelişim durumlarının güncel verilere dayanarak irdelenmesiyle beraber; çalışmanın sonucunda Türkiye'deki savunma sanayiinin aktüel durumu ile Türkiye'nin savunma sanayii alanında dünya üzerindeki yeri hakkında genel bir fikir sahibi olunabilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Bu çalışmada, birincil ve ikincil kaynaklardan elde edilen veriler aracılığıyla ve betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak Türkiye'nin savunma sanayiindeki atılımları ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu cihetle, çalışmanın hem yönetimsel/idari alanda hem de askeri alanda yapılacak olan yeni araştırmalar için katkı sağlayabileceği değerlendirilmektedir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The subject of this thesis study is to examine the development of defence industry in Türkiye in the period between 2002 and 2023. For this purpose; the developments in defence industry in Republic of Turkey between 2002 and 2023 were evaluated in the context of national technology move. In this study, it is aimed to examine the developments in Türkiye's defence industry in the last 21 years in general terms, in the context of national defence strategies and recent national technology move, and to provide information about effects of this development on a global scale. In addition, importance of technology-oriented defence industry elements developed in the context of national technology move was emphasized in order for Türkiye to progress towards becoming a regional and even a global military power in the future. The study is important in terms of analyzing level of localization and nationalization in weapons, vehicles and equipment, along with the developments in defence industry in Türkiye after 2002. Although the development of the Republic of Türkiye in defence industry between 2002 and 2023 has been the focus, development of defence industry has been discussed since the Ottoman Empire, importance of activities in Turkish defence industry has been emphasized and content of study has been enriched. In this study, defence industry and technology development status of important states on a global basis is examined based on current data; as a result of the study, it is aimed to have a general idea about the current situation of defence industry in Türkiye and Türkiye's place in the world in field of defence industry. In this study, Türkiye's breakthroughs in defence industry were tried to be revealed through data obtained from primary and secondary sources and by using descriptive analysis method. In this respect, it is evaluated that the study can contribute to new research in both the managerial/administrative field and military field. | |
