dc.description.abstractIn this paper, we consider the estimation of R=P(Y<X) where X and Y have two independent Weibull distributions with different scale parameters and the same shape parameter. We used different methods for estimating R. Assuming that the common shape parameter is known, the maximum likelihood, uniformly minimum variance unbiased and Bayes estimators for R are obtained based on type-II right censored sample. Monte Carlo simulations are performed to compare the different estimators.en_US
