| dc.description.abstract | Yaptığı iş gereği insanlarla kurduğu sık ve yoğun etkileşim sonucu tükenme yaşayan, meslek sahibi kişilerin durumu son yıllarda araştırmacıların ilgisini çeken bir konu olmuştur. Yapılan araştırmalar konuyu, tükenmeye sebep olan örgüt içi ve örgüt dışı etmenler, tükenmenin zararlı sonuçları ve tükenme ile mücadele yöntemleri çerçevesinde ele almaktadır. Bu araştırmada, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı İlköğretim Okulları, Lise ve Meslek Liselerinde görev yapan okul yöneticilerinin; cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, çocuk sayısı, branş, eğitim durumu, kıdem, okuldaki öğretmen sayısı, okuldaki öğrenci sayısı, okul türü, okulun bulunduğu yerleşim birimi, katıldıkları hizmet içi eğitim kurs ve seminer sayısı, öğretmenlik mesleğini tercih sırası, mesleki doyum değişkenlerine göre tükenme düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya İlköğretim Okulu, Lise, Özel Lise ve Meslek Lisesi yöneticilerinden oluşan, 36 kadın 384 erkek olmak üzere, toplam 420 okul müdürü katılmıştır. Tükenmişliği belirlemek için, Maslach ve Jackson (1981) tarafından geliştirilen ve Canan Ergin (1992) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlanan Maslach Tükenmişlik Envanteri (MBI) kullanılmıştır Ölçeğin güvenirlik ve geçerlik çalışmaları Ergin (1992) tarafından yapılmış, araştırmacı tarafından da test tekrar test yöntemi ile test edilmiştir. Maslach Tükenmişlik Envanteri; duygusal tükenme (EE), duyarsızlaşma (DP) ve kişisel başarı (PA) olmak üzere üç alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Tarama niteliğindeki bu araştırmanın verileri varyans analizi ve "t" testinden yararlanarak analiz edilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda, duygusal tükenme alt boyutunda; okuldaki öğrenci sayısı, okul türü ve meslekten sağlanan doyum türü ile, duyarsızlaşma alt boyutunda; yaş, medeni durum, çocuk sayısı, eğitim durumu, okuldaki öğrenci sayısı, okul türü, yerleşim birimi ve meslekten sağlanan doyum türü ile, kişisel başarı alt boyutunda; cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim durumu, kıdem, okuldaki öğretmen sayısı, okuldaki öğrenci sayısı, okul türü, öğretmenlik mesleğini tercih sırası ve meslekten sağlanan doyum türü ile tükenme arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Türkiye'de, okul yöneticilerinin tükenmişlikleri üzerinde yapılan bu araştırmanın okul yöneticilerinin hizmet öncesi ve hizmet içi eğitimlerine ışık tutacağı umulmaktadır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Condition of persons who are undergoing an exhaustion because of the frequent interaction with others as their profession requires has recently attracted attention of the investigators. In the researches carried out so far, the subject has been handled within the method of coping with the intra and extra organisational factors causing exhaustion, with the harmful results of exhaustion and with exhaustion itself. In this research it is aimed to determine the exhaustion level of the school directors of primary education schools, high schools and professional high schools of Minitry of Education with regard to variables of their sex, age, marital status, number of children, branch, educational status, seniority, number of the teachers and students in their schools, school types, centre of population, number of the inservice training courses and seminaries, order of preferrence of their profession, and professional satisfaction. 420 school directors, 36 of whom are female and 384 of whom males, from the primary schools, high schools, private high schools and professional high schools were included in the research. In determining the exhaustion level, Maslach Burnout Inventory (MB I), an inventory developed by Maslach and Jackson (1981) and adapted into Turkish by Canan Ergin (1992) was used. Reliability and validity of the scale were investigated by Ergin (1992), and they were tested with retesting method by the same person. Maslach Burnout Inventory consists of three sub-scales: Emotional Exhaustion (EE), Depersonalization (DP) and Personal Accomplishment (PA). The data of this research which has a survey method quality were analysed through variant analysis and "t" test. Some significant relationships were found between exhaustion and the number of the students, school types and the satisfaction way with the profession in the emotional exhaustion sub-scale; age, marital status, number of children, educational status, number of the students in the school type, centre of population and satisfaction way provided from the profession in depersonalization sub-scale; betwen sex, age, educational status, seniority, number of teachers and students in the school, school type, order of preferrence of teaching profession in the personal accomplishment sub-scale.
