Özet
Geleneksel giysilerimiz, geçmişteki giyim kültürümüzü tanıtan ve Türk kültürü içinde önemli bir yer teşkil eden giyim parçalarıdır. Giyim kültürümüzün örneklerini evde sandıklarda, müzelerde, antikacılarda bulmak mümkündür. Çanakkale Yenice ilçesinin geleneksel Türk kadın kıyafetlerine ulaşmak için evlerde bulunan sandıklar açılmış, Yenice kadınlarının el emeği, göz nuru ile ortaya çıkardığı giysiler incelenerek, yüzyıla yakın bir geçmiş belgelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada, Çanakkale Yenice ilçesi evlerinde bulunan geleneksel Türk kadın kıyafetleri çeşitlerinden uzun gömlek, don, üçetek ve cepken örnekleri; malzeme, renk, kesim, dikim, süsleme tekniği ve süsleme konusu yönünden incelenerek, bu giysileri gün yüzüne çıkarmak ve giyim tarihine ışık tutacak kaynak oluşturarak, kültür mirasımıza sahip çıkmak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın giriş bölümündeki literatür taramalarında; Yenice ilçesinin coğrafi durumuna, Yenice yöresi geleneksel Türk kadın giyimleri arasında yer alan, içe giyilenlerde don ve uzun gömlek, üste giyilenlerde cepken, üçetek ve ferace, başa giyilenlerde günlük ve özel gün baş giyimleri, ayağa giyilenler, tamamlayıcı aksesuarlarda çendil, çevre ve takı, özel gün giyimlerinde bindallı ve libade (yörede ilbade olarak bilinmektedir.) tanım ve özelliklerine yer verilmiştir. Verilerin toplanmasında, Yenice evleri sandıklarından yirmi yedi adet giysi örneği seçilmiştir. Bunlar; dokuz' ar adet uzun gömlek ve don, beş adet üçetek, dört adet cepkenden oluşmaktadır. Örnekler gözlem fişleri doğrultusunda malzeme, renk, kesim, dikim, süsleme tekniği ve süsleme konusu yönünden incelenerek tablolar oluşturulmuştur. Tablolardan yola çıkarak değerlendirmeler yapılmış ve sonuca ulaşılmıştır.
