Özet
İlköğretim okulları sosyal bilgiler ders kitaplarında vatan ve millet sevgisi adlı tez çalışmamız beş bölümden oluşmuştur. I.bölümde milli eğitimin amaçları, ilkeleri, eğitim öğretim ilkelerine, II. bölümde sosyal bilimler ve sosyal bilgiler kavramları, kavramlar arasındaki fark ve sosyal bilgiler dersinin tarihsel gelişimine yer verilmiştir. III. bölümde 4-5-6 ve 7. sınıf sosyal bilgiler ders kitapları şekil ve içerik yönünden incelenmiştir. IV. bölümde ders kitaplarında yer alan ünitelerin tarih, coğrafya ve vatandaşlık bilgisi konularına göre sınıflandırılması yapılarak eski müfredat programında kullanılan ilköğretim sosyal bilgiler ders kitaplarında yer alan ünitelerle karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. Yeni müfredat programında yer alan tarih, coğrafya ve vatandaşlık bilgisi konularının oranını eski müfredat programıyla karşılaştırdığımızda önemli düşüşler olduğunu görüyoruz. Son bölümde ders kitaplarındaki tarih, coğrafya ve vatandaşlık bilgisi konularında vatan ve millet sevgisi üzerinde durulmuştur. Vatan ve millet sevgisi görsel materyallerden sıkça yararlanılarak verilmeye çalışılmıştır Ancak tarih, coğrafya ve vatandaşlık bilgisi konularında verilen bilgilerin sınırlı olması vatan millet sevgisi aşılamak için yeterli değildir.
Our thesis study titled Love of Country and National Patriotism in the Social Sciences textbooks of primary education consists of five parts. Aims and principles of National Education and principles of education&training have been examined in the Part I, social sciences and concepts of social sciences in the Part II and textbooks of Grades 4, 5 ,6 and 7 in respect of their form and content in the Part III. In the VI. Part, units in textbooks are classified according to history, geography and citizenship knowledge and compared to primary education textbooks of social siciences that were used in the old curriculum program. When comparing topics of history, geography and citizenship knowledge in new curriculum program to the old one, we see some significant decreases. In the last part, Love of Country and National Patriotism are discussed in the topics of history, geography and citizenship knowledge. It?s often tried to give Love of Country and National Patriotism by benefiting from visual materials, but our knowledge provided in terms of topics of Love of Country and National Patriotism are limited to infuse with Love of Country and National Patriotism.
