Özet
Hz. Ali'nin kahramanlıklarını anlatan Ceng-nâme kitapları İslâm dünyası ve
Türk edebiyatında önemli bir değer taşımaktadır. Aynı zamanda Arap ve Farslarda da
önemli bir yere sahiptir. Hâver-Zemîn kitabı 5638 beyitten, 381 varaktan oluşan
manzum bir Ceng-nâmedir. Eserin yazarı belli değildir. Eseri istinsah eden kişi Halil
Münevver'dir. Elimizde bulunan Hâver-Zemīn kitabı Hz. Ali'nin kahramanlıklarını
anlatmaktadır. Eserde Türkçe, Farsça, Arapça sözcüklerde bulunmaktadır. Bunun
yanında eseri diğer eserlerden farklı kılan Irak Türkmen Türkçesine ait kelimelerin de
bulunmasıdır. Eser mesnevi tarzında yazılmıştır. Eserde Hz. Ali dışında birçok
kahraman da yer almıştır.
The Ceng-nâme books describing Ali's heroism have a significant value in the Islamic world and Turkish literature. They have an important place amongst the Arabs and Persians.
