Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, 11-13 yaş grubu erkek yüzücülerde 12 haftalık terabant
antrenmanının bazı motorik özellikler ile yüzme performansına etkilerini belirlemektir. Araştırma
Isparta Gençlik Hizmetleri ve Spor İl Müdürlüğü’nde düzenli olarak yüzme çalışmaları yapan 11-13
yaş grubu toplam 24 erkek çocuk yüzme+terabant (YTG) ve yüzme (YG) grubunu; düzenli olarak
egzersiz yapmayan aynı yaşlar arasındaki 12 erkek çocuk da kontrol (K) grubunu oluşturarak toplam
36 katılımcı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Araştırmaya katılan çocuklar 12’şer kişilik YTG, YG ve K gruplarına ayrılmıştır. YTG’ye
12 hafta süresince haftada 2 gün sadece yüzme ve 3 gün de yüzme antrenmanlarına ek olarak terabant
ile kuvvet antrenmanı, YG’ye haftada 5 gün sadece yüzme antrenmanları uygulanmıştır. Kontrol
grubuna ise herhangi bir egzersiz çalışması yaptırılmamıştır. 12 haftalık antrenman programı öncesi
ve sonrası gruplara boy uzunluğu, vücut ağırlığı, beden kütle indeksi, durarak uzun atlama, 30 sn
mekik, 30 sn şınav,el kavrama kuvveti, bacak ve sırt kuvveti, esneklik, omuz esnekliği, 20 m sürat
koşusu, 25, 50 ve 200 m yüzme testleri uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulguların analizinde SPSS 15.0
istatistik paket programı kullanılarak; non parametrik analizlerden Mann Whitney U testi, Kruskal
Wallis H testi ve Wilcoxon İkili İlişki testi uygulanmıştır.
Araştırmanın sonunda YTG ve YG’nin 30 saniye mekik ve şınav, el kavrama kuvvetleri, 20
m sürat, esneklik, omuz esnekliği ve 25-50-200 m yüzme performanslarında anlamlı düzeyde farkın
olduğu belirlenmiştir (P<0,05). Bunun yanında hem YTG hem de YG’de yer alan çocukların sadece
bacak ve sırt kuvveti değerlerinde anlamlı düzeyde bir farka rastlanmazken (P>0,05), kontrol
grubunda ise hiçbir performans parametresinde anlamlı düzeyde değişimin olmadığı tespit edilmiştir
(P>0,05).
Sonuç olarak 11-13 yaş grubu erkek yüzücülerden bir gruba 12 hafta süre ile sadece yüzme
antrenmanı, bir gruba da yüzme antrenmanlarına ek olarak terabant çalışmaları yaptırılmış ve program
sonunda her iki grubunda bazı motorik özellikleri ile yüzme performanslarında benzer olumlu etkiler
tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bu bilgiler ışığında, yüzme antrenmanları ile birlikte kara çalışması
olarak yaptırılan terabant antrenmanlarının 11-13 yaş grubu çocukların performans gelişimlerine farklı
bir katkı sağlamadığı söylenebilir.
The aim of this study was to determine effects of 12-weeks thera-band trainings on swimming performance with some motoric features. Totally 24 male children at 11-13 age group joining regularly swimming workouts at Isparta Youth Services and Sport County Management Club created swimming+thera-band (STG) and swimming (S); 12 male children at same age who don’t making regularly exercise created control (C) group. Research was materialized with 36 participants. Participants were divided 12-individuals groups as STG, SG and C groups. 2 days swimming in a week and in addition to swimming training, 3 days strength with thera-band in a week were applied to STG during 12 weeks, as to only 5 days swimming training in a week were applied to SG during 12 weeks. . In addition to swimming trainings continued 3 day in a week during 12 week, strength training with thera-band was applied to STG , only swimming workouts to S groups, too. As to any exercise workout was not applied to C group. Height, body weight, body mass index, standing long jump, 30 sec shuttle, 30 sec push-up, hand-grip strength, leg and back strength, flexibility, shoulder flexibility, 20 m speed running, 25,50 and 200 m swimming tests were made after and before 12-weeks training program. In analyze of data obtained, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis H and Wilcoxon Paired Test were applied by using SPSS 15.0 statistic program. In result of research, it was determined that there was statistically significant difference in performances of 30 sec shuttle and push-up, handgrip strengths, 20 m speed, flexibility, shoulder flexibility and 25-50-200 m swimming of STG and S groups (P<0,05). Besides, while a difference at significant level was not found in leg and back strength (P>0,05) in both STG and S groups, as to it was established that there was no change at significant level in any performance parameter in C group (P>0,05). As a result, only swimming training was applied to a group from male swimmer, in addition to swimming trainings, thera-band workouts were applied to another group at 11-13 age group during 12 weeks and similar positive effects at some motoric features and swimming performances were established. In the light of this obtained knowledges, it can be said that thera-band workouts which were made as land workouts together with swimming trainings don’t supply any impact on performance development of children.
