| dc.description.abstract | The subject of the research is to design modem clothes inspired by clothes in Mevlana Museum and the sources related to Mevlana. It is aimed to unify art and Mevlana who lived during Seljukian empire term and is one of the important values of our culture, and to keep him alive and introduce him to the today's generations. Nevertheless it is aimed to carry the clothes which are getting lost day by day and have been attributed to Mevlana and sultan Veled and the Mevlevi clothes to today and transfer them to the next generations. In this research the clothes in Mevlana museum have been examined and their exact pattern has been worked with the pattern drawing technique on the clothes. Modem female clothes and children clothes have been designed, sewn and ornamented inspiring by the clothes in Mevlana museum and other artworks related to Mevlana. While ornamenting the clothes, the art works in Mevlana museum and the art works and architectural motifs belong to Seljukian empire have been used. The ornamentation techniques like applique, cordon attachment, spangle bead, strass attachment for ornamentation. | en_US |
