dc.description.abstractIn this study, growth rate, feed consumption, feed conversion and carcass traits of pheasants has been in- vestigated in different slaughter ages. Chick weight, 4, 8 and 12 weeks old of pheasant weights were determined as 20.78, 175.36, 476.76 and 738.06 g respectively 14, 16 and 18 weeks old of pheasants were slaughtered. Feed consumption of this weeks were calculated as 3434.70, 4126.81 and 4964.31 g. feed conversion of this weeks were de- termined as 3.98, 4.33 and 4.68 respectively. Average body weights of pheasants on fourteenth, sixteenth and eigh- teenth weeks were determined as, 877,00, 918.00 and 1058.00 g respectively. There were statistically significant differences in average body weights of groups (P < 0.05) The dressing percentage of pheasants at the same ages were determined as 74.75 %, 77.15 % and 74.54 % respectively (P < 0.05) . Breast and thigh percentage of phe- asants were calculated as, 34.18% and 28.34%, 34.74 % and 27.66% and 34.23% and 27.34 % respectively (P > 0.05) As a result of this study its carried out that the pheasants be able to slaughter in 16 weeks age.en_US
dc.description.abstractBu çalışma farklı kesim yaşı uygulanan sülünlerin büyüme, yem tüketimi, yemden yararlanma, karkas ağırlığı ve karkas özelliklerinin belirlenebilmesi amacıyla yapıldı, Sülünlerin çıkım ağırlığı, 4, 8 ve 12 hafta ortalama canlı ağır Iklan sırasıyla, 20.78, 175.36, 476.76 ve 738.06 g olarak tespit edildi. Sülünlerin kesim işlemi 14, 16 ve 18. haftada yapıldı. Bu yaşlardaki yem tüketimi sırasıyla; 3434.70, 4126.81 ve 4964.31 g. yemden yararlanma değeri, 3.98, 4.33 ve 4.68; ortalama canlı ağırlıklar ise, 877.00, 918.00 ve 1058.00 g olarak belirlendi (P < 0.05) Karkas randimani ayni yaşlarda sırasıyla: % 74.75, % 77 15 ve % 74.54 olarak belirlendi (P < 0.05) , Göğüs ve butlann karkasa oranı ise s rasıyla; % 34.18 ve % 28.34, % 34.74 ve % 27.66 ve % 34.23 ve % 27.34 olarak tespit edildi (P > 0.05) Bu araş tirmanın sonucunda göğüs oranı ve karkas randimani beraberce düşünüldüğünde, sülünler için uygun olan kesim yaşının 16 hafta olduğu kanaatine varıldı.en_US
