| dc.description.abstract | "Vikinglerde Kadın İmgesinin Özgün Seramik Form ve Yüzeylerde İzdüşümleri" başlıklı tez çalışması iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, Vikinglerin tarihi, kültürü ve inanç sistemi incelenerek, Viking kadınının sosyo-kültürel ve düşünsel sistem içindeki konumu ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise, farklı sanat disiplinlerinde Viking kadın imgesinin ele alındığı çalışmalar incelenmiş ve elde edilen veriler ışığında tasarımlar oluşturulmuştur. Tasarımlar yapılırken, Vikinglerde kadın imgesi irdelenmiş ve kadının o dönemdeki sosyo-kültürel ve düşünsel sistemler üzerindeki etkisi üzerine yoğunlaşılmıştır. Seçilen tasarımlar, seramik şekillendirme tekniklerinden elle şekillendirme ve şablon kalıp tekniği ile uygulanmıştır. Daha sonra çalışmaların bisküvi ve sır pişirimleri yapılmıştır. Her bir çalışma sergileme için hazır hale getirilmiştir. Tüm uygulama süreçleri görsellerle desteklenerek anlatılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, çalışma Viking dönemine ait kadın imgesinin sanatsal bir yorumunu sunarak tarihsel ve kültürel bir perspektif kazandırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Viking kadınlarının toplumsal rolleri ve bu rollerin sanattaki yansımaları üzerinden yapılan analizler, dönemin kadın figürlerinin nasıl algılandığını ve temsil edildiğini göstermektedir. Aynı zamanda, seramik sanatında kullanılan teknikler ve yaklaşımlar, geleneksel formların modern yorumlarla yeniden keşfedilmesini sağlamaktadır. Bu araştırma, sanat tarihinde Viking kültürü ve kadın imgesine dair yeni bir bakış açısı sunmakla kalmayıp, sanatçılar ve araştırmacılar için ilham kaynağı olabilecek özgün bir perspektif sunmaktadır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The thesis titled "Projections of the Image of Women in Viking Culture on Original Ceramic Forms and Surfaces" is divided into two main sections. The first section examines the history, culture, and belief systems of the Vikings to elucidate the role and position of women within the socio-cultural and intellectual frameworks of Viking society. The second section reviews studies that address the depiction of Viking women across various art disciplines. Based on these studies, original designs were created, focusing on the influence of Viking women's images on the socio-cultural and intellectual systems of their time. The selected designs were executed using ceramic shaping techniques, including hand-building and template molding. The works were then subjected to bisque and glaze firings and were prepared for exhibition. The entire process is documented and supported with visual aids. In this context, the study aims to present an artistic interpretation of the Viking era female image, providing a historical and cultural perspective. The analysis of Viking women's societal roles and their artistic representations illustrates how female figures were perceived and represented during that period. Additionally, the techniques and approaches used in ceramic art facilitate the modern reinterpretation of traditional forms. This research not only offers a new perspective on Viking culture and the female image in art history but also provides an original viewpoint that could inspire both artists and researchers. | |
