| dc.description.abstract | Temelde bir bütünleşme sürecine referans veren Türkiye?nin AB?ye üyelik süreci Türkiye?ye bir yandan siyasi ve ekonomik pek çok avantaj sağlarken, toplumsal ve kültürel bağlamda da Osmanlı İmparatorluğu?nun küllerinde doğan Türkiye?nin modernleşme ve gelişme projesinin en temel referans noktası olmuştur. Bu süreç bir yandan Türkiye?y e oldukça önemli katkılarda bulunurken, coğrafya, ekonomi/ticaret, ulaşım/iletişim, güvenlik, nüfus gibi çok önemli alanlarda Avrupa?nın lehine görünmüştür. Çünkü Türkiye, mevcut ticari ve ekonomik dinamikleriyle Avrupa için bir üretim merkezi pozisyonuna ve yerleşik bulunduğu coğrafyasıyla da bir enerji koridoru konumuna sahiptir. Türkiye, bir köprü vazifesi gören dinamik ulaşım hatlarıyla Batı?yı/Avrupa?yı Doğu ile bir araya getirmekte, genç ve dinamik nüfusu ile de Avrupa toplumlarına pek çok açıdan “taz e bir kan” olmaktadır. Bir modernizasyon projesi olarak Batı?ya yönelme, Türkiye açısından eş anlı olarak Batı ile entegrasyon çabalarını da gerekli kılmıştır. DoğuBatı dünyaları arasında bir köprü pozisyonunda bulunan Türkiye, sosyal, kültürel, ekonomik ve siyasal olarak kalkınmada Batı toplumlarını, özelde ise günümüzde AB?yi oluşturan üye ülkeleri referans alarak, yenileşmesini modern Avrupa normları üzerine inşa etmiştir. Bu kapsam çerçevesinde çalışmada, konuyla ilgili kaynaklardan yararlanılmış, nice l araştırma teknikleri (konunun belirlenmesi, sınırlanması, literatür çalışmasının yapılması ve veri toplanması) ışığında, nitel araştırma tekniklerinden birisi olan tarihsel araştırma yönteminden faydalanılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The membership process of Turkey to European Union (EU), which basically refers to an integration process, provides many political and economic advantages for Turkey on the one hand, it becomes the main r eference point for the modernization and development project of Turkey, where was born in the ashes of the Ottoman Empire in the social and cultural context, on the other hand. While this process makes very important contributions to Turkey, it seems in fa vor of Europe in such crucial areas as geography, economics/commerce, transportation/communication, security, and population as well. Because Turkey has a position of commercial center for Europe with its commercial and economic dynamics, and it has a loca tion of an energy corridor with its geography on where it resides. Turkey brings together the West/Europe with the East by its dynamic transport links that function as “a bridge,” and it becomes a “fresh blood” for the European societies in many aspects wi th its young and dynamic population. The orientation to the west as a modernization project has made Turkey necessary for the integration efforts. with the west. This study examines the negotiation process and its stages, which is the final point of the in tegration process that continues about a half of century between Turkey and EU. The first chapter examines the relations of Turkey with EU within a historical perspective at the basic outline, the process until the Helsinki, the accession process, and the basic documents between Turkey and EU. In the second chapter in which the accession negotiations are treated, it is mentioned about the stages and functioning of the negotiation process and this chapter is ended by the actors of process are presented. The third chapter gives a place to the Negotiation Framework Document, which determines the basic course of negotiations, and then treats the titles in the negotiation process.
