Özet
Atatürk, yeni kurulan Cumhuriyetin, varlığını koruyup güçlendirebilmesi ve ülkenin bağımsızlığını pekiştirebilmesi için bağımsız ve güçlü bir ekonomiye ihtiyaç olduğunu biliyor ve ifade ediyordu. Bu sebeple, ekonominin temellerini atmak ve yatırımların ülke geneline yayılmasını sağlamak için hiç gecikmeden gerekli girişimleri başlatmıştır.
