Özet
37 year-old-male with acquired hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, primary infertility, and decreased libido after 20 months of continued gonadotmpin therapy presented with bilateral varicoceles. Bilateral subinguinal varicocelectomy with operative microscope was done. Serum testosterone level, total motile sperm count, 24-hour sperm motility, and libido markedly improved. The couple spontaneously conceived four months post-operatively. Varicocelectomy improved both spermatogenesis and testosterone synthesis in a man with acquired hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. Varicocele is a reversible cause for gonadotmpin treatment failure.
