S-400 Krizi Bağlamında Türkiye'de Faaliyet Gösteren Yabancı Basın Organlarının Haber Söylemi Üzerine Ekonomi-Politik Bir Çalışma

Özet
Türkiye'nin yanı başında gelişen Suriye İç Savaşı ve onun beraberinde getirdiği
tehditler, Türkiye'yi siyasal ve askeri adımlar atmaya itmiştir. Yaşanan bu gelişmeler
Türkiye’nin, ABD ve Rusya gibi ülkelerle zaman zaman siyasal ekonomik sıkıntılar
yaşamasına neden olmuştur. Yaşanan tüm bu gelişmeler, Türkiye'de faaliyet gösteren
yabancı basın organlarında sık sık Türkiye'nin aleyhine olacak şekilde haberleştirilerek
dünya kamuoyuna servis edilmiştir. Özellikle kamuoyunu uzun süredir işgal eden ve
ABD ile Türkiye arasında siyasal ve ekonomik krizlere neden olan S-400 krizi yabancı
basın organlarında sıklıkla kendine yer bulmuştur. Bu bağlamda çalışmada, Türkiye'de
yayıncılık faaliyeti yürüten uluslararası basın kuruluşları; Amerika'nın Sesi ve Sputnik
News’in S-400 krizine ilişkin haberleri ekonomi-politik yaklaşım temelli olarak
incelenmiştir. Çalışmada yöntem olarak Teun Van dijk’ın Söylem Analizi yöntemi
kullanılırken her iki haber sitesinden S-400 krizine ilişkin toplamda 18 haber seçilerek
makro ve mikro yapılarına göre analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuç
itibariyle her iki haber sitesi de kendi ülkelerinin ideolojik tavrına göre haber
metinlerini inşa ederken açık ve örtülü olarak propaganda faaliyetleri yürüttüğü
görülmektedir.
The Syrian Civil War, which has been unfolding right next to Turkey, along with the threats it has brought, has compelled Turkey to take political and military actions. These developments have occasionally led to political and economic tensions between Turkey and countries like the United States and Russia. All of these events have been frequently covered in foreign press outlets operating in Turkey, often presented in a way that is unfavorable to Turkey in the eyes of the international public. Particularly, the S-400 crisis, which has long occupied public opinion and led to political and economic crises between the United States and Turkey, has found significant coverage in foreign press outlets. In this context, this study examines the news articles related to the S-400 crisis by international media organizations operating in Turkey, namely Voice of America and Sputnik News, from an economic-political approach. In terms of methodology, Teun Van Dijk's Discourse Analysis method is employed, and a total of 18 news articles related to the S-400 crisis are selected from both news sites and analyzed based on their macro and micro structures. The results obtained from the study indicate that both news sites construct their news texts according to the ideological stance of their respective countries, engaging in both explicit and implicit propaganda activities.
