Çanakkale-Ayvacık Halılarının Güncel Sorunları ve Kültürel Miras Turizmi Bağlamında Sürdürülebilirliğinin Sağlanmasına Yönelik Öneriler

Özet
ÖZ Çanakkale iline bağlı Ayvacık ilçesi 15.yy.’dan bu yana, Yörükler tarafından dokunan el yapımı halı üretimleri ile tanınan bir halı merkezidir. Ayvacık ilçesi dokuma halıların yanı sıra kültürel miras açısından da zengin bir bölgedir. 1980’lerde dünya el yapımı halı pazarında önemli bir yeri olan Ayvacık halılarının üretiminde son 20 yıllık süreçte ciddi bir düşüş yaşanmıştır. Bu çalışma, Ayvacık yöresinde halıcılığın günümüzdeki durumunu, halı üretiminde görülen gerilemenin sebeplerini ve halı üreticilerinin karşılaştığı güncel sorunları tespit ederek, yöreye ait büyük bir değer, bir kültür mirası ögesi, turistik bir ürün olan el halılarını sektörel bazda sürdürebilir kılmayı amaçlamaktadır .Bu çalışmada veriler, alan araştırması yöntemi kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilere göre; 2003 yılında Ayvacık’ın 34 köyünde halı dokumacılığı yapılırken, günümüzde bu sayının beşe düştüğü görülmektedir. Toplam 29 köy’de halı dokumacılığı terkedilmiştir. Halı üretiminin gerilemesindeki sebepler incelendiğinde; üretici ve üretim odaklı sorunlar, malzeme ve maliyet odaklı sorunlar, endüstriyel gelişim ve tüketici odaklı sorunlar ile pazarlama odaklı sorunlardan kaynaklandığı tespit edilmiştir.
ABSTRACT Ayvacık district of Çanakkale province is a carpet center known for its handmade carpet production woven by Yoruks sincethe 15th century. Ayvacık district is a rich region in terms of cultural heritage as well as woven carpets. There has been a seriousdecline in the production of Ayvacık carpets, which had an important place in the world handmade carpet market in the 1980s, inthe last 20 years. This study aims to make handmade carpets, which are a great value of the region, an element of cultural heritageand a touristic product, sustainable on a sectoral basis by determining the current situation of carpet weaving in the Ayvacıkregion, the reasons for the decline in carpet production and the current problems faced by carpet producers.In this study, the data was obtained using the field research method. According to the data obtained from the research; Itshows that while carpet weaving was done in 34 villages of Ayvacık in 2003, this number has decreased to five today. Carpetweaving has been abandoned in a total of 29 villages. When the reasons for the decline in carpet production are examined; It hasbeen determined that the problems are caused by producer and production-oriented problems, material and cost-orientedproblems, industrial development and consumer-oriented problems and marketing-oriented problems.
