| dc.description.abstract | Neopterin (NP) düşük molekül ağırlıklı (253) 2-amino-4-hidroksi-(1ı,2ı,3ıtrihidroksi propil) pterindir. NP INF-? ve az derecede diğer sitokinler, endotoksinler ve INF- ? tarafından GTP siklohidroksilaz-1 aracılığıyla monosit/makrofajlarda üretilir. Bu hücreler NP üretiminin en güçlü indükleyicileridir. NP konsantrasyonları vücut sıvılarında INF-? varlığını belirtir. Neredeyse tüm insan hücrelerinde GTP' den tetrahidrobiopterin (BH4) üretilir tek istisna, monosit ve makrofajlarda 6-pirovoil tetrahidropterin sentetazın eksikliğinde 7,8 dihidroneopterin trifosfatın hidroliz ve oksidasyonun bir sonucu olarak NP oluşur. Bu çalışmanın amacı hücresel imünite göstergesi olan NP düzeylerinin bulaşıcı hastalıklarla ilişkisin incelenmesi. Bu amaçla Selçuk Üniversitesi Meram Tıp Fakültesi Kan Bankası ve Mikrobiyoloji laboratuarlarına gelen hastalardan seçilen 138 serum örneğinde NP düzeyleri ve hepatit B, hepatit C, markırları bakılmıştır.NP düzeyleri HPLC cihazında floresans detektör kullanılarak, enfeksiyon hastalıları markerleri ise mikrobiyoloji laboratuarlarında çalışılmıştır. Çalışmamızda neopterin düzeyi kontrol grubu ile hepatit B olguları arasında önemli bir farklılığa rastlanmadı. Buna karşılık hepatit c grubu sonuçları hem hepatit b den hemde kontrol grubundan anlamlı dercede yüksek oranda bulundu. Sonuç olarak kan donörlerinde sadece neopterin taramasının oldukça riskli olabileceği ancak diğer viral tarama markırlarının yanı sıra faydalı olabilecektir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Neopterin (NP) is a pterin that has low weighted molecule (253) 2-amino4- hydroxy (1ı,2ı,3ı-trihidroksi propil). NP is produced by INF-? and slight amount of other sythocins, endetoxin and INF-? by means of GTP syklohydrolase in monocyte/macrophage. These cells are the most influental stimulants of NP production. NP concentration indicates the presence of INF-? in the body fluids. In almost all of the human cells tetrahidrobiopterin (BH4) is produced from GTP. But the only exception is the occurance of NP as a result of 7,8 dihidroneopterin trifosfat hydroxlase and oxdation in the monocyte and macrophage and in cessation, of deficiency in 6-pirovoil tetrahidropterin sentetase. The aim of this study is tonexamine the relation between neopterin levels, which is an indicator of celluar immunity and blood transfusion-related diaseases. Fort his purpose the neopterin levels and the hepatits B, hepatits C markers of 138 serum examples, selected from the patients who came to mikrobiology laboratory and blood bank of Meram Medicine Faculty of Selcuk University, are examined. The neopterin levels are studied by usig fluorescence dedector in the HPLC equipment, the markers of infectous patients in the microbiology laborotary. Hepatitis B patients results showed similar neopterin levels when compared to control groups. Hepatitis C patients showed higher neopterin level when compared to the control and hepatitis C. As a conclusion, neopterin measurements may be helpfull when used in addition to the serological markers. | en_US |
