Özet
Bu çalışma Türkiye’nin Karadeniz Bölgesinde yer alan Ordu ilinin son yıllarda
turizmde önemli eğilimler arasında yer alan gönüllülük ve tarım turizmi potansiyelinin
belirlenmesi amacı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Türkiye’de önemli örnekleri bulunan ve özel
ilgi turizmi kapsamında değerlendirilen tarım turizminin Ordu ilinde yeterince
gelişmemiş olması bu araştırmanın gerekliliğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu sebeple tarım
turizminin mevcut durumunun nedenleriyle birlikte ortaya çıkarılması ve gelişimine
yönelik önerilerin sunulması önemlidir. Bu kapsamda Ordu ilinin mevcut turizm ve tarım
potansiyeli ayrı ayrı incelenmiştir.
Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden görüşme, gözlem ve doküman analizi veri
toplama teknikleri ile oluşturulmuştur. Çalışma kapsamında katılımcıların verdikleri
cevapların altında yatan nedenleri derinlemesine incelemek ve sürece bağlı ek sorular
sorabilmek için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme (mülakat) formu kullanılmış ve 14 kişi ile
görüşme gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma ilk olarak katılımcılardan Ordu ilinin tarım ve
turizm gelişimi hakkında bilgiler alınmıştır. Daha sonra tarım turizmi ve gönüllü
seyahatler alanında gelişimi üzerine sorular yöneltilmiş ve görüşler toplanmıştır. Görüşler
doğrultusunda tarım turizminin il genelinde tanınırlığının olmadığı, katılımcıların
herhangi bir tarım turizmi ve gönüllülük çalışması ile karşılaşmadığı belirlenmiştir.
Katılımcıların cevapları doğrultusunda, ilde tarım ve turizm alanında önemli alt ve üst
yapı eksikliklerinin olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Bunun ile birlikte gönüllülük ve tarım
turizmi faaliyetleri hakkında bilgilendirilen katılımcıların bu faaliyetlere sıcak baktığı
sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Katılımcılar, gönüllülük ve tarım turizmi faaliyetlerinin önemli
ekonomik ve sosyal getirileri olabileceğini belirtmişlerdir.
The aim of this study is to determine the volunteering and agricultural tourism potential of Ordu province in the Black Sea Region of Turkey, which is among the important trends in tourism in recent years. The fact that agricultural tourism, which has important examples in Turkey and is evaluated within the scope of special interest tourism, is not developed enough in Ordu reveals the necessity of this research. For this reason, it is important to reveal the current situation of agricultural tourism with its reasons and to present suggestions for its development. In this context, the current tourism and agriculture potential of Ordu province were examined severally. The research was formed by interview from qualitative research methods, observation and document analysis from data collection techniques. Within the scope of the research, 14 people were interviewed through a semi-structured interview form in order to examine the reasons underlying the answers of the participants in depth and to ask additional questions related to the process. In the research, firstly, the information of the participants about the agriculture and tourism development of Ordu province was consulted. Then, questions were asked and ideas were collected on the development of agricultural tourism and voluntary travels. In accordance with the ideas, it was determined that agricultural tourism was not recognized throughout the province, and the participants did not encounter any agricultural tourism and volunteering activities. In line with the answers of the participants, it was concluded that there are important infrastructure and superstructure deficiencies in the field of agriculture and tourism in the province. However, it was concluded that the participants, who were informed about volunteering and agricultural tourism activities, inclined toward these activities. Participants stated that volunteering and agritourism activities may have significant economic and social benefits.
