Özet
Ebru sanatı tarihçesi ile ilgili çelişkilere maruz kalmış ilk olarak kim tarafından ve nerde yapıldığı belli olmayan geleneksel bir sanat dalıdır. Ebru, yoğunluğu artırılmış olan suyun üzerine boyalar ve çeşitli materyaller ile şekil verilen ve bu desenlerin kağıt, kumaş, ahşap, cam, seramik gibi objeler üzerine alınması işlemidir. Günümüz insanın değişim gösteren ihtiyaçları, teknolojinin sanatsal ve bilimsel çalışmalarda sağladığı kolaylıklar ebru sanatının yapımında alternatifler sağlamıştır. Bu da ebrunun sadece kağıt süsleme sanatı olarak kalmayıp farklı materyaller üzerinde denenmesine yol açmıştır. Dekoratif ürünlerde de kendini gösteren ebru hobi amaçlı açılan kurslar yanında, sanatsal çalışmalarda, akademik birimlerde ve hemen hemen her alanda ön plana çıkmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında ebru sanatı hakkında genel bilgi, yapım aşaması ile çeşitleri hakkında bilgi ve örnekler aynı zamanda tezin amacı olan ebrunun dekoratif amaçlı kullanım alanları ile ilgili bilgi ve örnekler bulunmaktadır. Unutulmaya yüz tutmuş sanatlarımızdan ebru sanatının dekoratif ürünlerle birleşerek yeni soluklar kazanması, ebru sanatını farklı kullanım alanları ile tanıtabilmek olanağı sağlamıştır. Bu sanatımızla ilgilenen kişilere kaynak teşkil etmesi ve ebru sanatını bilimsel bir bakış açısıyla incelemek amacıyla bu çalışmahazırlanmıştır.4
The art of Ebru which is not known where and by whom made firstly is an oldTurkish art and it is exposed to contradictions related to its short story. Ebru is aprocess of giving form on densitified water with paints and various materials andundertaking these figures on paper,cloth(fabric),wood,glass and ceramics.The changing needs of modern age mankind and easinesses that thetechnology provides in artistic and scientific works have supplied alternatives inproduction of Ebru art. And this has made a way for Ebru art not only to be a paperdecoration but also to be tried on different materials.Ebru art which also shows itselfin decorative products, comes to the front in hobby intentioned courses,artisticworks,academic units and almost in every areas. In this thesis work there are generalinformations about Ebru art,information and examples about its production phase andkinds and informations and examples about decorative intentioned usage areas aswell.As gaining new breaths by joining to decorative products,ourEbru art which has begun to be forgotten has enabled to introduce itselfwith its differnt usage areas. This work is prepared to be a source for dealers and toexamine Ebru art with a scientific point of view.5
