Özet
Aile kavramı ilk dönemlerden bu yana varlığını korumaktadır. Bireylerin gelişiminde ve davranışlarında etkili bir rol oynayan aile, toplumda önemli noktada yer alır. Toplumsal yapımızda temel yapı taşı olarak gösterilen aile kavramı, ülkemiz sinemasında da sıklıkla ele alınmaktadır. Hemen hemen her filminde aile içi ilişkilere değinen Yeşim Ustaoğlu, bu çalışmanın odak noktasında yer almaktadır. Söz konusu çalışmada, Yeşim Ustaoğlu sinemasındaki aile yapıları ve bu yapıların karakterlerin eylemlerine olan etkileri incelenmektedir. Film çözümlemesini temel alan bu araştırma, nitel desende yapılandırılmıştır. Nitel araştırma deseni olarak yöntemler içinde araştırma konusu açısından olgubilim deseninin uygun olduğu düşünülmüştür. Çalışmanın analiz bölümünde, gerek aile kavramının ön plana çıkarılması açısından gerekse yönetmenin film dilinin belirgin yansımalarını daha net görebilmek amacıyla Araf ve Tereddüt filmleri tercih edilmektedir. Bu filmler, aile kavramı çerçevesinde analiz edilmiştir. Aile içi ilişkilerin Yeşim Ustaoğlu filmlerindeki karakterlerin yaşamlarında, davranış şekillerinde, verdikleri kararlarda ya da iç hesaplaşmalarda etkisinin olduğunu söylemek mümkündür. Yönetmenin Araf ve Tereddüt adlı çalışmalarında da hem aile içi ilişkiler hem de karakterlerin bu yapıdan etkilenişi, filmlerin konusuna doğrudan etki etmektedir
The concept of family has existed since the early periods. The family plays an important role in the development and behavior of individuals. The concept of family, which is shown as the basic building block in our social structure, is frequently discussed in our country cinema. Yeşim Ustaoğlu, who touches on family relations in almost every film, is at the center of this study. In this study, the family structures in Yeşim Ustaoğlu cinema and the effects of these structures on the actions of the characters are examined. This research, based on film analysis, is structured in a qualitative design. As a qualitative research design, phenomenological design is considered to be appropriate in terms of research subject. In the analysis section of the study, in order to be able to see the reflections of the family concept in terms of both the notion of family and the director's film language, Araf and Tereddüt films are preferred. These films were analyzed within the framework of family concept. It is possible to say that family relations have an impact on the life style of Yeşim Ustaoğlu characters, their behavior, the decisions they make or the internal settlements. Both the family relations and the influences of the characters have a direct influence on the subject of the films
