dc.description.abstract | The p-median problem is a well-known combinatorial optimization problem with various formulations and many real-life applications. In this study, the performance of genetic algorithm (GA) with different crossover operators is studied. Well-known test problems in the literature are used to test the performance of crossover operators. The comparative experimental results show that the two-point crossover operator and the operator that randomly uses the one-point and twopoint crossover operators can effectively solve problems represented by direct value coding, such as the p-median facility location problem. | en_US |
