Özet
Bu çalışma, çocukların duygu anlama beceri düzeylerinin akranlarına karşı
gösterdikleri duygusal davranışsal tepkilere etkisini ve akranlarına karşı gösterdikleri
duygusal davranışsal tepkileri çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Bu değişkenler; okul öncesi eğitim kurumuna devam süresi, kardeş sayısı, cinsiyet, anne
öğrenim düzeyi, baba öğrenim düzeyi ve gelirdir.
Araştırma Konya ilinde okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarına devam eden 359 çocuk (60-72
ay) ile yürütülmüştür. Çocukların duygu anlama beceri düzeylerini belirleyebilmek için
“Denham Duygu Anlama Testi (DDAT)” kullanılmıştır ayrıca akranlarına karşı gösterdikleri
duygusal davranışsal tepkileri değerlendirebilmek için ise “ Akran Tepki Testi (ATT)”
kullanılmıştır.
Araştırmada toplanan veriler SPSS kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analizler için ki kare
(X2) testi kullanılmıştır.
Çocukların akranlarına karşı gösterdikleri tepkiler duygusal tepkiler ve davranışsal
tepkiler olmak üzere iki alanda incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda çocukların akranlarına
karşı gösterdikleri duygusal ve davranışsal tepkilerin duygu anlama beceri düzeyi, okul öncesi
eğitim kurumuna devam süresi, cinsiyet, kardeş sayısı, anne öğrenim düzeyi, baba öğrenim
düzeyi ve ailenin gelirine göre farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir.
This research was conducted in order to study effect of children‟s emotion understanding skills on their emotional behavioral reactions against peers and to examine their emotional behavioral responses in terms of different variables. These variables were period of attending pre-school educational institution, number of siblings, gender, mother's educational level, father's educational level and family's total monthly income. The research was conducted with 359 60-72 months old children attending pre-school education institutions in Konya. „Denham‟s Affect Knowledge Test‟ was used to determine the children's level of emotion understanding skills while Challenging Situation Task was used in order to assess their emotional behavioral reactions against their peers. The data collected in this study were analyzed by using SPSS. Chi-square (X2) test was used for the analysis. Children‟s responses against their peers were studied in two areas as being emotional reactions and behavioral reactions.
