Sorumlu turizmin destinasyon rekabetçiliğine ve yaşam kalitesine etkisi üzerine bir uygulama

Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı sorumlu turizm ekseninde destinasyon rekabetçiliği ve yaşam kalitesi arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmektir. Açıklayıcı yakınsayan karma araştırma yöntemi ile desenlenen çalışma, nicel ve nitel verilerden elde edilen bulgular ile zenginleştirilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda araştırmanın evreni, Isparta ili Eğirdir ilçesinin turizm paydaşları olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın nicel kısmı basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 390 turizm paydaşından, nitel kısmı ise orantılı tabakalı örneklem yöntemi ile tespit edilen 16 turizm paydaşından oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın nicel verileri Sorumlu Turizm, Destinasyon Rekabetçiliği ve Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçekleri, nitel verileri ise yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu aracılılığıyla toplanmıştır. Nicel verilerin çözümlenmesinde SPSS paket programında çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizinden, nitel verilerin çözümlenmesinde ise betimsel ve içerik analizinden faydalanılmıştır. Yapılan bu tez çalışmasında Türkçe alanyazınında olmayan "Sorumlu Turizm Ölçeğini" Türkçe literatüre kazandırılması amacıyla ölçek uyarlaması yapılmıştır. Nicel analiz sonucunda, Sorumlu turizmin destinasyon rekabetçiliğini yüksek oranda, ancak yaşam kalitesini düşük oranda etkilediği bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu sonuç, nitel analiz verilerince de desteklemektedir. Ayrıca katılımcıların demografik özelliklerine göre çeşitli düzeylerde sözü geçen değişkenlerin farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Nitel analiz sonucunda ise, bölge ekonomisinin turizme bağımlı olmadığı ve turizmden yeteri kadar yararlanılmadığı bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between quality of competitiveness and quality of life in the tourism sector in terms of responsible tourism. The study, which was designed by using explanatory convergent mixed research method, was enriched with the findings obtained from quantitative and qualitative data. In this respect, the tourism stakeholders of the district of Eğirdir in the province of Isparta was determined as the population of the research. The quantitative part of the study consisted of 390 tourism stakeholders determined by simple random sampling method and the qualitative part consisted of 16 tourism stakeholders determined by the proportional stratified sampling method. Quantitative data of the study were collected through Responsible Tourism, Destination Competitiveness and Quality of Life scales, and qualitative data were collected through a semi-structured interview form. In the analysis of the quantitative data, multiple linear regression analysis was used in the SPSS package program and descriptive and content analysis was used in the analysis of qualitative data. In this thesis, a scale adaptation was made to bring the "Responsible Tourism Scale", which is not in Turkish literature, into Turkish literature. As a result of the quantitative analysis, it was found that responsible tourism has a high effect on destination competitiveness but has low effect on quality of life. This result is also supported by qualitative data. In addition, it was seen that the variables mentioned at various levels differ according to the demographic characteristics of the participants. As a result of the qualitative analysis, it was found that the economy of the region was not dependent on tourism and the tourism was not utilized sufficiently.
