Öğe Biyometrik doğrulama tabanlı seçim sistemi(Selçuk Üniversitesi Teknik Bilimler Meslek Yüksekokulu, 2009) Bilgin, Metin; Altun, Adem Alpaslan; Işık, Hakan; Sungur, CemilGeleneksel yöntemler kullanılarak sandık başında yapılan seçimler, uzun hazırlık süreçleri, hatalı veya sahte oy kullanımı, oy sayımında ortaya çıkabilecek hatalar, uzun sayım süreçleri ve maliyetlerinin yüksek olması gibi olumsuzluklar içermektedir. Ülke ekonomisini ve politikasını doğrudan etkileyen bu olumsuz durumları ortadan kaldırmak için mevcut sistemi elektronik ortama taşımak artık bir zorunluluktur. Bu çalışmada mevcut seçim sistemimiz incelenmiş ve aynı işlevleri daha etkin bir şekilde yerine getiren bir biyometrik seçim sistemi geliştirilmiş ve uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca hedeflediğimiz e-seçim sisteminde güvenilirliği en yüksek seviyeye çıkarmak için biyometrik sistemler incelenmiş ve parmak izi okuyucusu kullanılmıştır. Böylece çalışma, e-seçim sistemi ile birlikte bir biyometrik sistem uygulanarak da daha zengin ve daha etkin bir hale getirilmiştir.Öğe Developing an Automation System for Improving the Energy Efficiency of Constant Pressure Irrigation Pumps(ASCE-AMER SOC CIVIL ENGINEERS, 2016) Sungur, Cemil; Calisir, Sedat; Kaya, EnderIn the present study, the changes in system efficiency were investigated at constant pressure and at different flow rates between 100 and 50% of the nominal flow rate in an irrigation pumping plant. For this purpose, programable logic controller (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI) panel software was developed to automatically control motor speed by means of frequency, and valve opening by means of servomotor in an irrigation pumping system. In this automation system, pump flow rate was measured using an electromagnetic flowmeter and pump discharge pressure was measured using a pressure sensor. According to the results of the study, optimum system efficiency was observed at the point corresponding to 70% of the nominal flow rate. This system efficiency value was found to be 6.9% higher than the nominal system efficiency. However, the system efficiency at points corresponding to 50% or lower ratios of the nominal flow rate was found to be lower than the nominal system efficiency. Elektronik devrenin dinamik davranışlarını bilmek, kullanıcıya devrenin verimi performansı hakkında tahmin yapmasını olanaklı kılar ve simülasyon esnasında bu hatalar belirlenir. Bu makalede tek fazlı tam dalga doğrultucu devresi çeşitli bilgisayar yazılımları Matlab ve Electronic WorkBench gibi kullanılarak simülasyon yapılmıştır. Simulasyondan sonra iki yazılımın doğruluk derecesine göre karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır.Öğe Güneş pilleri ile beslenen termoelektrik mobil soğutucunun tasarımı ve analizi(Selçuk Üniversitesi Teknik Bilimler Meslek Yüksekokulu, 2008) Sungur, CemilBu çalışmada sıcak iklim şartlarında, elektrik enerjisinin olmadığı yerlerde kullanılmak üzere prototip, güneş pilleri ile beslenen 48x10-3m3 hacminde max. 18 W gücünde bir termoelektrik soğutucu tasarlanıp gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu sistem, kontrol devresi ve termoelektrik soğutucudan oluşmaktadır. Bu sistem için gerekli olan enerjiyi elde etmek için Fotovoltaik (PV) panel, panelden yeterli enerji alınmadığı zamanlarda yedekleme için batarya kullanılmıştır. Sistemin, 25°C ortam sıcaklığında, soğutma iç sıcaklığı 5°C-10°C arasında ayarlanıp bu şartlardaki maliyet, verim ve ekonomi açısından performans testleri yapılmıştır. Testlerin sonucunda termoelektrik soğutucunun coefficient of performance(COP) değeri 0.3 ila 0.6 arasında bulunmuştur. Tasarlanıp gerçekleştirilen bu termoelektrik soğutucunun, güneşlenme süresi oldukça iyi olan Türkiye şartlarında uygulanabilir olduğu ortaya konulmuştur.Öğe The Irrigation System Fed from Biaxial PV Panels(IEEE, 2015) Terzioglu, Hakan; Kazan, Fatih Alpaslan; Sungur, CemilIn this study, an irrigation system which has an adaptive control system fed from the photovoltaic panels was designed and developed. The control system was designed as an electromechanical system which photovoltaic panel follows the sun on two axes, including both azimuth angle and zenith angle. In the executed system, the tracking of the sun was performed in both axes using dsPIC. Moreover, the control circuit with dsPIC processes the data obtained from the calculations of current-voltage and liquid levels. Differently from other studies in the literature, in this study, the source which feeds the irrigation system was determined according to the power obtained from the panel and PV panel was moved in two axes. The power generated by the panel is fed from battery if the power is below the determined power value and the panel is used if the power is above it. Through this developed algorithm, it was aimed to keep the tank full when the water is needed and prevent unnecessary discharge of the battery and lengthen its economic life depending on the quantity of charging-discharging of it. As a result of this study, the system was optimal activated without the requirement of any other energy except PV panel.Öğe MCS-51 tip mikrokontrollerin çevre birimleri ile alakalandırılması ve numune bilgisayar kartının yapılması(Selçuk Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, 1997-02-14) Sungur, Cemil; Kahramanlı, ŞirzatBu çalışmanın özünü çok amaçlı bir mikrobilgisayar kartının tasarım ve gerçekleştirilmesi oluşturmaktadır. Sanayii otomasyonunda yoğun bir şekilde kullanılan PC veya mikroişlemci kartları yerine mikrokontroller tabanlı mikrobilgisayar kullanılmasının daha ucuz, daha küçük boyutlu ve daha kullanışlı olacağı fikri bu projeye yön vermiştir. Tasarlanan mikrobilgisayar kartı, piyasada mevcut olan her türlü sensör ile bağlantılı olarak kullanılabilmekte ve bu yolla elde edilen ölçümlerin değerlendirilmesi ve kontrol objelerinin amaca uygun olarak yönlendirilebilmesi mümkün olmaktadır. Bu proje' de gerçekleştirilen mikrobilgisayarda, bir adet 8031 mikrokontroller, bir adet LCD gösterge, 24 tuşlu özel klavye, PC ile bağlantı kurabilmek için bir adet seri port ve diğer çevre birimleri ile irtibatlandırabilmek için de iki adet 8255 PIA kullanılmıştır. Geliştirilen mikrobilgisayarın kullanımı sayesinde bir PC'ye kıyasla yaklaşık %65 oranında maliyetin azaltılması, kontrol biriminin küçülmesinden dolayı da daha az yer işgali ve dolayısıyla kullanımının yaygınlaştırılması hedeflenmij ve yönde %75 basan sağlanmıştır.Öğe MCS51 tip mikrokontrollerin çevre birimleri ile alakalandırılması ve numune bilgisayar kartının yapılması(Selçuk Üniversitesi Teknoloji Fakültesi, 2000) Sungur, CemilIn this project a multipurpose microcomputer board have been developed. It has been aimed a mıcrocomputer which will be cheaper, smaller in size and more practical to use instead of PC or microprocessor boards commonly used in industrial automation. The designed microcomputer card can be used to connect with any kinds of sensor available on market and it is possible to evaluate measurements obtained in this way and to direct the control objects properly. In this project, developed microcomputer consist of? one 8031 microcontroller, one LCD indicator, a special keyboard with 24 keys, one serial port in order to connect with PC and two 8255 PIA to connect to peripheral units. With the usage of this microcomputer compering to PC, it is aimed that the cost will be reduced at 65%, it will occupy less space due to the reduction of the control unit and for this reason the usage will be more common and in this respect, 75% success has been obtained.Öğe A microcontroller-based real time two-axes sun tracking system for maximum PV energy(SILA SCIENCE, 2012) Sungur, Cemil; Altun, Adem Alpaslan; Terzioğlu, HakanIn the present study, a microcontroller-based sun tracking system that takes into account both solar azimuth and altitude angles to obtain the maximum energy from the solar panels was developed. Thus, the sun was tracked on two axes based on real-time data. The control unit used in the study was PIC18F452 microprocessor and the real-time clock was DS1302 integrated circuit. A program which instantly calculates the movements (the azimuth and altitude angles) of the sun throughout the day and the year by using solar geometry was loaded on the PIC. The angle values calculated by this program were transformed into pulse-width-modulation signals and the sun tracking system was controlled using these signals. As the result of the experiments, it was observed that more energy was obtained through the use of the microcontroller based sun tracking system. Furthermore, a low-cost and easily programmed control system which tracks the sun in real-time, enables the stable operation of the system and consumes little energy was obtained.Öğe Multi-axes sun-tracking system with PLC control for photovoltaic panels in Turkey(PERGAMON-ELSEVIER SCIENCE LTD, 2009) Sungur, CemilIn the present Study, the azimuth and solar altitude angles of the sun were calculated for a period of I year at 37.6 degrees latitude in the Northern hemisphere, where Turkey is located, and according to these angles, an electromechanical system which tracks the sun on both axes and which is controlled via it programmable logic control (PLC) and an analog module was designed and implemented. After the mechanical control unit of the designed system was started, the performance measurements of the solar panel were carried out first when the solar panel was in a fixed position and then the solar panel was controlled while tracking the sun on azimuth and solar altitude angles and the necessary measurements were performed. It was observed that the control system operated without a problem. Besides, when the data obtained from the measurements were compared, it was seen that 42.6% more energy was obtained in the two-axes sun-tracking system when compared to the fixed system. All rights reserved.Öğe A real time quality control application for animal production by image processing(WILEY-BLACKWELL, 2015) Sungur, Cemil; Ozkan, HalilBACKGROUNDStandards of hygiene and health are of major importance in food production, and quality control has become obligatory in this field. Thanks to rapidly developing technologies, it is now possible for automatic and safe quality control of food production. For this purpose, image-processing-based quality control systems used in industrial applications are being employed to analyze the quality of food products. In this study, quality control of chicken (Gallus domesticus) eggs was achieved using a real time image-processing technique. RESULTSIn order to execute the quality control processes, a conveying mechanism was used. Eggs passing on a conveyor belt were continuously photographed in real time by cameras located above the belt. The images obtained were processed by various methods and techniques. Using digital instrumentation, the volume of the eggs was measured, broken/cracked eggs were separated and dirty eggs were determined. In accordance with international standards for classifying the quality of eggs, the class of separated eggs was determined through a fuzzy implication model. CONCLUSIONAccording to tests carried out on thousands of eggs, a quality control process with an accuracy of 98% was possible. In this study, an RFID system which can determine the position and place of any desired vehicle is designed and developed. Microprocessor transmitter devices, on which the vehicle information is loaded, are placed on the vehicles. Receiver circuits are located at certain points in order to receive the RF signals sent by these transmitter devices. The communication of all the points with each other is maintained by connecting the receiver circuits via the internet. The functionality of the system is tested by performing receiver-transmitter experiments based on the various speeds and locations of the vehicles. According to the results obtained in the experiments, it is seen that the system designed in the study could be used in place of the GPS system for determining the place and position of vehicles, since it is more economical when compared to the GPS system.Öğe Smart Bus Station-Passenger Information System(IEEE, 2015) Sungur, Cemil; Babaoglu, Ismail; Sungur, AysegulThe people who use inner city public transportation vehicles want to get information about the current status of the public transportation vehicles and they want to know the travel time of the vehicles both while travelling and waiting at the bus stops. In this study, a smart bus stop-passenger information system was developed in order to enable administers effectively monitor the public transportation system and also enable the people who utilize this system simultaneously observe the information about the location and status of those vehicles. In the designed system, the embedded mini-computer based systems and digital monitors were used in order to instantly present the information related to the travel and transportation in the public transportation vehicles. The instant movement information of the vehicle was transferred to the central server through a GPS module which functions integrated to the embedded computer systems and web services. Moreover, the embedded mini-computer based systems and digital monitors were installed to the bus stops in order to present the information related to the movements of the public transportation vehicle and their approach to the related bus-stop. The mini-computers embedded on the bus stops provide communication with the central server through web services and the bus stops, public transportation vehicles and central server formed information network of the transportation. The software developed to manage the system provided the authorities the advantages of instant status observation, remote-informing and updating related to the management of the status and travel of the public transportation vehicles. Through this developed system, moreover, it was ensured that the position and travel information of the vehicles through the monitors both inside the public transportation vehicles and at the bus stops, increase the life qualities of the people who use the public transport vehicles and facilitate their urban life cycles.Öğe Sun-tracking system with plc control for photo-voltaic panels(TAYLOR & FRANCIS INC, 2007) Sungur, CemilIn this study, the electromechanical control system of a photovoltaic (PV) panel tracking the sun on the axis it moves along according to its azimuthal angle was designed and implemented. In this system, Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) were used instead of photo-sensors, which are widely used for tracking the sun. The azimuthal angle of the sun from sunrise to sunset times was calculated for each day of the year at 37.6 degrees latitude in the Northern hemisphere, the location of the city where the experiment was conducted. According to this azimuth angle, the required analog signal was taken from the PLC analog module and sent to the actuator motor, which controlled the position of the panel to ensure that the rays fall vertically on the panel. After the mechanical control system of the system was started, the performance measurements of the solar panel were carried out. For this, the necessary measurements were implemented when the solar panel was in a fixed position. Afterwards, the panel was moved on a single axis according to the azimuthal angle and the necessary measurements were performed. The values obtained from the measurements were compared and the necessary evaluations were conducted.Öğe Teknik öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleklerine ilişkin tutumlarının yordayıcısı olarak mesleki benlik saygısı(Selçuk Üniversitesi Teknik Bilimler Meslek Yüksekokulu, 2009) Dilmaç, Bülent; Çıkılı, Yahya; Işık, Hasan; Sungur, CemilBu araştırmanın amacı, teknik öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutumları ile mesleki benlik saygısı arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma Selçuk Üniversitesi Teknik Eğitim Fakültesinin çeşitli bölümlerinde (Bilgisayar Sistemleri, Elektronik ve Otomotiv Öğretmenliği) öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarından oluşmaktadır. Araştırma verileri Arıcak (1999) tarafından geliştirilen “Mesleki Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği”, ile Çetin (2006), tarafından geliştirilen “Öğretmenlik Mesleğine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda, öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutumları ile mesleki benlik saygısı arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacı ile Pearson momentler çarpım korelasyon kat sayısı tekniği ve Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği ile Öğretmenlik Mesleğine İlişkin Tutumlarının Belirlenmesine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği alt boyutlarını açıklama gücünü belirlemek amacıyla da Çoklu Regresyon Tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, mesleki benlik saygısı ile öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutum arasında pozitif yönde bir ilişkinin olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutum ölçeğinin alt boyutları mesleki benlik saygısını açıklamakta; bu alt boyutlardan sevgi ve uyum alt boyutlarının mesleki benlik saygısını anlamlı olarak yordadığı ancak değer alt boyutunda bu durumun söz konusu olmadığı görülmektedir.
