Özet
Amaç: Çalışma doğum salonunda çalışan ebelerin kanıta dayalı uygulamaları takip etme ve gelişmeleri kaçırma düzeyini belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı bir çalışma olarak Kasım 2022-Mart 2023 tarihleri arasında toplam 150 ebe ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini belirtilen tarihler arasında Türkiye genelinde doğum salonunda çalışan ebeler oluşturmuştur. Veriler surveey.com adresinde oluşturulan anket aracılığı ile çevrimiçi olarak toplanmıştır. Çalışmada ‘Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu’ ile ‘Gelişmeleri Kaçırma Korkusu Ölçeği (GKKÖ)’ kullanılmıştır.
Bulgular: Ebelerin GKKÖ toplam puan ortalaması 35,11±14,30 bulunmuştur. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda ebelerin kanıta dayalı uygulamalar hakkında bilgi sahibi olduğu ancak yeterince uygulamadığı; kanıta dayalı uygulamalar hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak ile gelişmeleri kaçırma korkusu arasında bir ilişki olmadığı belirlenmiştir.
Sonuç: Ebelerin bakım kalitesini artırmak amacıyla; kanıta dayalı uygulamaları uygulama durumları ve gelişmeleri kaçırma korku düzeylerini belirlemeye yönelik daha geniş kapsamlı çalışmaların yapılması önerilmektedir. Kanıta dayalı uygulamaları takip etmek amacıyla ebeler bilimsel etkinliklere katılmaları açısından desteklenmelidir.
Aim: The study was conducted with the aim of tracking the evidence-based practices of midwives working in the delivery room and determining the degree of missing developments. Method: The research was conducted as a descriptive study with a total of 150 midwives between November 2022 and March 2023. The population of the study consisted of midwives working in delivery rooms throughout Turkey between the indicated dates. The data were collected online using a questionnaire created on surveey.com. The "Introduction Form" and the "Fear of Missing Out" scale were used in the study. Results: The mean total SSQ score of midwives was 35.11±14.30. According to the research findings, midwives are aware of evidence-based practices but do not use them sufficiently. It was found that there was no relationship between knowledge of evidence-based practices and fear of missing out. Conclusıon: To improve the quality of care provided by midwives, it is recommended that more comprehensive studies be conducted to determine the instances in which evidence-based practices are used and the level of fear of missing out. Midwives should be supported to participate in scientific activities in order to follow evidence-based practices.
