Özet
İletişimin en yaygın aracı konuşma; konuşmanın da malzemesi sözlerdir. Hem İslam ve Doğu âleminin, hem de kültürümüzün en önde gelen mistik şairi, bir söz sultanı olan Mevlâna, Mesnevî’sinde, iletişimin bu değerli malzemesinin önemine, söylemeye ve dinlemeye dair ilginç tespitlerde bulunur. Bu tespitlerini; konuşma, dinleme ve susmaya ilişkin ayet ve hadis iktibasları yanında konuşma ve sözün konu edildiği hikâyelerle örneklendirir. Ayrıca sözün kaynağı, gücü, zamanı, genişliği yanında yetersizliği, susmak, az ve çok konuşmak, hâl ve gönül dili, söyleme adabı, söyleyenin ve dinleyenin özellikleri gibi konularda çok zengin bilgiler ve görüşler sunar. Makalede bu hususlar ele alınmaktadır.
Talking is the most common means of communication and words are the material of talking. Rumi, the sultan of words and the premier mystical poet of both Islam and east world, and our own culture, make interesting findings on the significance of this valuable material of communication, talking and listening in his Mathnaw?. He points out these findings by giving quotes from verse of the Koran and hadith about talking, listening and remaining silent, and moreover by giving examples of stories about talking and word. Furthermore, he indicates information and opinions about topics such as the word’s source, it’s power, time, wideness and also it’s inadequacy, and remaining silent, talking less or too much, language of heart, speaking manner, the characteristics of speaker and listener. In this paper, these subjects are discussed.
