Özet
Din ile bilim arasındaki tarihsel çekişme veya çatışmanın modern bilim paradigmasının ortaya çıkışıyla başladığı ileri sürülebilir. Bu tarihi çatışmanın günümüzde de geçerliliğini büyük ölçüde koruduğu söylenebilir. Dünya sinemasında korku türünün dinsel öğeleri fazlasıyla kullandığı ve bazı dönemlerde kimi siyasi/ideolojik gereksinimler doğrultusunda bilim ile dinin korku filmlerinde karşı karşıya getirildiği görülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2002 sonrası Türk korku filmlerinde bilim ile din ilişkisinin nasıl yansıtıldığının ortaya çıkartılmasıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda tematik analiz yöntemi ile 2002 sonrası Türk sinemasında korku türünde çekilmiş olan on film irdelenmiştir.
It can be argued that the historical rivalry or conflict between the science and religion has begun with the emergence of modern science paradigm. It could be said that also today this historical conflict still keeps its validity to a large extent. It is seen that religious items have been eminently used by in the world horror genre and in some periods, in accordance with some political requirements, science and religion are brought against each other in the horror movies. The aim of this study is to reveal how the relation between science and religion is reflected in the Turkish horror movies after 2002. In accordance with this aim, ten horror movies that were produced after 2002 will be examined by using thematic analysis method.
