| dc.description.abstract | Gazi Mustafa Kemal Paşa, daha Millî Mücadele’nin başından itibaren kurulacak olan Yeni Türk Devleti’nin siyasî rejiminin Cumhuriyet olacağını düşünüyor ve bunun gereklerini yapıyordu. Ancak, kamuoyunda Cumhuriyet kelimesinin gündeme gelmesi 1923 yılının yaz aylarında, yani Cumhuriyetin ilânından önceki aylarda olmuştur. Daha önce millî hâkimiyet, halk hâkimiyeti, millî irade gibi konularda değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. 1923 yaz aylarında ise yapılan yorumlarda Cumhuriyet rejiminin Türk milletinin özelliklerine en uygun rejim olduğu ve aynı zamanda Türkiye’nin bu rejimi tercih etmekle Doğulu milletlere de örnek olacağı hususları vurgulanmıştır. | dc.description.abstract | Gazi Mustafa Kemal Paşa, even from the beginning of the Independence War, has been thinking that the political regime of the New Turkish State would be the “Republic” and he has been performing what it could be done. Before this, some appreciations on the subjects such as national sovereignty, public sovereignty, national will has been made. In the summer months of 1923, in the comments which were made, it was emphasized that the regime of Republic was the most suitable for the characteristics of the Turkish nation and at the same time, by preferring this regime, Turkey would be a sample for the Eastern nations, too.
