Türkçede -ma (-me) ekinin yeri

Türkçenin kelime dağarcığının çok önemli bir kısmını türemiş kelimeler oluşturmaktadır. Kelime türetilmesinde en çok kullanılan eklerden biri de -ma (-me) ekidir. Türkçenin gelişim sürecinde en eski dönemlerden itibaren yer almış, günümüzde de Türk lehçelerinin birçoğunda verimli ekler arasında görevini sürdürmektedir. Fiilden isim yapan -ma (-me) ekinin ses benzerliği ile fiillerdeki olumsuzluk eki, kuvvetlendirme ve soru edatlarının kıyaslanması, Türkçede eklerin gelişme seyri hakkında düşüncelerimize katkıda bulunabilir. Türkçe ile akrabalığı olmayan birçok dilde benzeri anlamla ma unsurunun bulunması da çok ilginçtir. Özellikle Rusça bu konuda önemli malzemeler içermektedir. Bu ekin Türkçedeki yerini ve önemini belirlemek için tüm verilerin bir araya getirilerek incelenmesi gerekmektedir.

The derivated words comprise the most important part of Turkish Vocabulary. One of the most common suffixes employed in derivation is the suffix -ma (-me). This suffix has taken place in the devolopment period of Turkish since the very early stages. It also maintains its place among the other effective suffixes used within most other Turkish dialects. The sound similarity between the derivational suffix -ma (-me) and the inflexional suffix -ma (-me) and their comparison between them with some prepositional phrases may contribute to our impression concerning the development period of suffixes about Turkish. It is also interesting to find the ma device with similar meaning in other languages that have no kinship with Turkish. Especially Russian includes some necessary elements at this point. So it is useful to scrutinize all the data comparatively in order to determine the place of this suffix in terms of Turkish.
