| dc.description.abstract | İçinde yaşadığımız çağda olup bitenleri en iyi ifade eden temel kavramlardan biri de değişimdir. Tarih daha öncesinde olmadığı şekilde hızlı bir seyir içine girmiştir. Değişim rüzgarlarının en sert estiği alanlardan birinin de birey anlayışı olduğu bilinmektedir. Modernite, bireyi hayatın merkezine koymakta ve onu yetkinleşip geliştirmeye çağırmaktadır. Bu perspektifte birey, değer koyucu bir misyon kazanmakta ve neredeyse Tanrı’nın yerine konumlandırılmak istenmektedir. Bu tanımlamanın İslâmî anlayışta vahyin değer koyucu vasfının ve insanın kulluk için yaratılmış olma gerçeğinin tam karşısında olacak şeklide yapıldığı görülmektedir. Öte yandan İslâm’ın öngördüğü toplumu birey üzerinden oluşturmak istediği de bir gerçektir. İslâmî paradigmada birey, ilâhî emanetin ve sorumluluğun öznesidir. Bu dünyada en yüce amaçları gerçekleştirecek potansiyele ve ilâhî desteğe sahiptir. Kendisini temelini takvâ ve âhiret inancının şekillendirdiği bir ahlâk anlayışı ve bireysel sorumluluk bilinci üzerinden gerçekleştirir. Böylesine kilit bir rol biçilen bireyin, tarihî süreçte önemsizleştirilip, toplumsal vurgulara bir bakıma feda edildiği görülmektedir. Modernitenin birey projesi, aynı zamanda tehditler ve imkânlar içermektedir. Bu çalışma, modernitenin bireye yönelik yaklaşımlarının yanı sıra Kur’ân merkezli birey anlayışını ele alıp değerlendirmektedir. Tehditler konusuna dikkat çekip bir farkındalık oluşturmayı hedeflerken, İslâmî perspektifle çatışmayan vurgulardan faydalanmayı da önermektedir. Böylelikle bir yandan İslâm’ın temel hedefleri korunurken, diğer yandan da modern bireyin ihtiyaçları ve modern zamanların koşulları da gözetilmiş olacaktır | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | One of the basic concepts that adequately express what is happening in the age we live in is change. Unprecedentedly history plays a large part in it. It is remarked that one of the critical subjects of change is the understanding of the individual. Modernity puts the individual at the center of life and calls it to become competent and be developed. In this perspective, the individuals obtain a value-setting status and almost desires to be positioned in place of God. It is seen that this definition is made in the opposite of the value-setting quality of revelation in the Islamic understanding and the fact that human beings were created for servitude. On the other hand, it is a fact that Islam wants to create a society envisaged by the individual. In the Islamic paradigm, the individual is the subject of divine trust and responsibility. It has the potential and divine support to realize the highest goals in this world. It realizes itself by moral understanding and individual commitment shaped by the belief in taqwa and the hereafter. It is understood that the individual, who has been assigned such a key role, was trivialized and sacrificed for social emphasis in the historical process. The individuality design of modernity also contains threats and possibilities. This study handles and evaluates the individual concept of modernity as well as the Qur'an-centered understanding of the individual. This work suggests using emphasis that does not conflict with the Islamic perspective while aiming to raise awareness and draw attention to its threats. While preserving Islam's primary goals, we have taken the needs of the modern individual and the conditions of modern times into account | en_US |
