| dc.description.abstract | In this trial, the efficacy of Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (Factrel), administrated at the time of mating, on the pregnancy rate of dairy cows were studied. Sixty nine cows were used as materials. Animals were divided into two groups and 25µg Factrel were injected to the first group of 33 animals and Placebo to the second group of 36 animals. Rectal exploration was performed for estrous controls and pregnancy examinations were done post-mating 19-21 and 60 days respectively. The pregnancy rates of Factrel injected group (81.81%) were found higher than the controls (63.88%). The value was found significantly higher between the two groups (P < 0.01). The results were evaluated among the age groups. The differences in the pregnancy rate were found higher in younger cows (<5 ages). There was a marked improvement in the fertility rate in hormone treated cows after the relatively short interval (<60 days) between calving and mating. As a conclusion, the pregnancy rates could be improved with GnRH injections at the time of mating in the early postpartum cows. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada, sütçü ineklerde aşım sırasında uygulanan Gonadotropin Salgılayıcı Hormon (GnRH)'un gebe kalma oranı üzerindeki etkileri araştırıldı. Materyal olarak 69 adet inek kullanıldı. Deney hayvanları iki guruba ayrılarak 33 ineklik birinci guruba aşımdan hemen sonra 25 µg Gonadorelin (Factrel) ikinci guruba ise 0.5 ml Placebo enjekte edildi. Aşımı izleyen 19-21. günlerde östrüs ve 60. günde de gebelik kontrolları rektal muayene ile yapıldı. Factrel enjekte edilen ineklerdeki gebelik oranı (% 81.81), kontrol gurubuna kıyasla (%63.88) daha yüksek olarak saptandı. Deneme guruplarının yaşlara göre değerlendirilmesinde, 5 yaşın üzerindeki hayvanlarda gebelik oranı farkı daha yüksek olarak ortaya çıktı. Doğum ile aşım arasındaki sürenin etkisi ise postpartum 60. güne kadar ve 60. günden sonra olmak üzere 2 gurupta incelendi ve 60. güne kadarki tedavi ve kontrol gurupları arasındaki gebelik farkı, 60. günden sonrakilere kıyasla daha yüksek bulundu. Sonuç olarak, postpartum erken dönemde tohumlanan ineklerde GnRH uygulamaları ile gebelik oranlarının arttırılabileceği kanısına varıldı. | en_US |
