dc.description.abstractSosyolojinin bir bilim olarak kabul edildiği yıllardan bugüne kadar geçen süreçte sosyoloji tarihi, aynı zamanda sosyolojide yöntem sorunun da tarihi ola gelmiştir. Modern bilim anlayışı ve pozitivizm, bilimin bilgisine ulaşmaya çalLştığı nesnesinin, öznenin dışında bir gerçekliğe sahip lduğu fikrini kendisine çıkış noktası yapmaktadır. Bu anlayış, ilk sosyologlarda ve on dokuzuncu yüzyıl sosyolojisinde özellikle etkisini hissettirir. Bu anlayışa eleştirel bir tavırla yaklaşarak, tarihe ve topluma yönelen bilimlerin yöntemlerinin doğa bilimlerinin yöntemleri gibi olamayacağı konusunda karşı çıkan düşünürler de olmuştur. Sosyolojide anlama, sosyologun toplumsal ile bir tür diyalog kurmasını öncelikle zorunlu kılar. Sosyolojide özne ve nesne arasında birbirini dışlayan değil; ancak birbirini var eden bir epistemolojik süreçten söz edilebilir. Sosyolojide açıklama, toplumsal olanın yapısından dolayı anlamaya dayanmak zorundadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractSince it had been accepted as a science, the history of Sociology in one sense has always been a history of sociological methodology. Modem scientific approach and positivism, as a starting point, has accepted that the object of which science tries to grasp its knowledge, has an extemal reality of its own, . independent from its subject. This idea is dominant especially among the earlier sociologists, and lhe nineteenth century sociology. lt is in this time that we can see sociologists try to take natura( scierıce and its methodology as model for social science. Criticizing this approach, there were some thinkers who argued that social sciences must be based on understanding as well. Understanding in sociology, primarily requires a dialogue of the sociologist wllh the social. in sociology we can regard an epistemological process between the subject and the object as something making each other possible, rather lhan excluding each other. Because of the structure of social, explanation in sociology must based on understanding.en_US
