dc.description.abstractIt is well known that the matrix versions of the familiar real and complex exponential functions are fundamental for the study of many aspects of matrix theory and matrix group theory. In this note, we first define the strong Hadamard product and the strong Hadamard exponential function for some special block matrices, and obtain various calculus formulas for the strong Hadamard exponentials of some special block triangular matrices. We then give an application of this product for block-diagonal matrix with a special tridiagonal Cauchy-Toeplitz matrix.en_US
