Özet
Bir filmi değişik ölçütler kullanarak çok farklı biçimlerde incelemek ve değerlendirmek olasıdır. Yapılan incelemeler sonunda ortaya çoğu kez farklı değerlendirmeler ve yargıların çıkmasını normal karşılamak gerekir. Filmin doğru başka bir deyişle -amaca ulaştıran- değerlendirilebilmesi için ilk ve onsuz edilemeyecek adım, filmi anlamaktır; yönetmenin hangi karakterlerle, onların yaşantı ve eylemleriyle, kullandıkları ya da birlikte görüldükleri nesnelerle, temayı, alt metni ve tüm bunları filmsel zaman ve mekan içinde nasıl ortaya koyduğunu, bunu da ne ölçüde başardığını belirlemek gerekir. Bu çalışmada Ömer Kavur’un iletişimsizlik ve yalnızlık konularını yoğun bir biçimde işlediği ve bu bağlamda sinemayı, bir dönemi ve kendini sorguladığı bir filmi “Gece Yolculuğu” incelenmektedir.
It is possible to analyse and evaluate a film with using variety of measures. Different evaluations and conclusions for a film have to be accepted as normal as a result of final analyses. In other words -reaching film to its purpose- understanding the film for its evaluation is a preliminary step and can not be done without it; Determining the chosen characters, their lives and actions, their objects and materials seen with for reflecting sub-text through film’s space and time from director’s view point is essential and necessary. In this study, Ömer Kavur’s “Night Journey” is analysed within its concept of lack of communication and loneliness in relation to his own self and his own time period.
