Özet
Dialects gradually disappear under the oppressive influence of the standard language with the proliferation of technological advancements and mass media and their vocabulary heritages fade away day by day. This condition asserts the urgent need for compilation studies which are to be done by linguists as soon as possible. Text compilations are not sufficient on their own in the aforementioned studies, but the words in the local vocabulary heritage should be resurrected one by one. The most comprehensive and sophisticated study ever to be done over the vocabulary heritage of the Anatolian and Rumeli dialects is the Dictionary of Compilation from the Public Dialect in Turkey published by Turkish Language Association (Turk Dil Kurumu). This work is the criterion for vocabulary compilation studies of any kind. Therefore, all works published in this realm are just contributions to the Dictionary of Compilation of Turkish Language Association. In this study, it is aimed to make a contribution to the Dictionary of Compilation from the work called 'Gazipasa Dillere Destan', which comprises poems containing local Gazipasa (Antalya) dialectal words.
