Özet

Seed and biomass yield and yield components in eight-leafed and semi-leafless pea (Pisum sativum L.) genotypes were evaluated under dry and irrigated conditions at two locations (Ankara and Konya) in 2003 and 2004. The main concern was the adaptability and phenotypic stability of investigated genotypes. Experiments were carried out in a split plot design with 3 replications. Water status and genotypes significantly affected most yield components, biomass and seed yield in individual years and over years at both locations. Differences among conventionally leafed and semi-leafless lines for biomass and seed yield were not consistent between years and water status treatments. However, overall means of biomass yield and stability analysis showed that two semi-leafless genotypes, P57B and P57K, were superior to leafed genotypes in this study. The highest seed yield was obtained from semi-leafless genotypes P57B and P57K and the leafed genotype P 104. Stability analysis with data of both locations suggested that P57B was adapted to irrigated conditions, P57K and P104 were adapted to dry conditions.
