Abstract
Sözlü ve yazılı edebiyatın temeli dil, dilin malzemesi sözdür. Şâir ve edipler dili kullanmadaki hünerlerine göre değer bulurlar. Dîvan şâirlerinde sözün gerçek anlamıyla ele alınışına pek rastlanmaz. Onlar çoğunlukla söz ile kendi sözlerini, şiirlerini kastetmişlerdir. Ancak Dede Ömer Rûşenî Dîvânı’nda söz gerçek anlamında, sohbet ve konuşma âdâbı ile alâkalı kullanılmıştır. Bunun en önemli sebebi onun yüklendiği misyondur. Zîra o insanları dînen ve ahlâken eğitmeyi amaçlayan bir tekke şâiridir.
Language is the base of the spoken and written literature and word is the material of the language. Poets and authors gain value by their skill of using language. The poets of Classical Turkish Literature don’t use "word" in its real meaning. They usually intend their own poems. But we see that in the Divan of Dede Ömer Rûşenî, "word" had been used in its actual meaning related with conversation and regular customs of talking. The reason is that he was a mystic poet and his aim was educating man by the way of religion and morality.
