dc.description.abstractGöç, son yıllarda sık sık tartışılan konulardan biridir. Bu nedenle bu çalışmanın amacı seçilmiş ülkelerde göçün ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmada göç ve ekonomik büyüme ile ilgili ampirik literatür incelenerek farklı ülkeler üzerinden örnekler verilmektedir. Göçün seçilmiş ülkelerin ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkileri, 20062017 dönemine ait verilerle tahmin edilmektedir. Ülke seçiminde 2011 yılından itibaren en fazla Suriyeli mülteci alan ülkeler kriteri dikkate alınmıştır. Bu kapsamda analizde Türkiye, Lübnan, Ürdün, Almanya, Irak, Mısır, İsveç, Avusturya, Amerika ve Kanada’ya ait veriler kullanılmıştır. Çalışmamızın sonucunda ülkeye gelen mültecilerin ekonomik büyümeye katkısının pozitif ve istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ülkeye gelen mülteci sayısında %1 oranında artış ekonomik büyüme oranında %0.01’lik artışa sebep olmaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractMigration is one of the topics that has been discussed frequently in recent years. Therefore, the aim of this study is to reveal the effect of migration on economic growth in selected countries. In the study, empirical literature on migration and economic growth is examined and examples are given from different countries. The effects of migration on economic growth of selected countries are estimated with data for the period 2006–2017. In country selection, the criteria of countries receiving the highest number of Syrian refugees since 2011 have been taken into account. In this context, data from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Germany, Iraq, Egypt, Sweden, Austria, America and Canada were used in the analysis. As a result of our study, it was determined that the contribution of refugees to the country's economic growth was positive and statistically significant. An increase of 1% in the number of refugees coming to the country causes an increase of 0.01% in the economic growth rate.en_US
