dc.description.abstractKarar problemlerinde sıralama, seçim ve sınıflama amaçlı olarak yaygın bir şekilde kullanım alanı bulan Çok Kriterli Karar Verme (ÇKKV) tekniklerinin sıralama özellikleri ile işletmelerin finansal performanslarının ölçümüne yönelik bir model kurulması yoluyla analiz ve değerlendirmelerin yapılması, çalışmanın konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada TOPSIS, ELECTRE, GRİ İLİŞKİSEL ANALİZ (GİA), VIKOR, PROMETHEE II ve MOORA referans noktası ÇKKV yöntemleri ile CRITIC objektif ağırlık belirleme yöntemi kullanılarak 2015-2019 yılları 15 finansal oran (kriter) ve BIST Kurumsal Yönetim Endeksinde işlem gören 25 firma ele alınmıştır. İşletmelerin elde edilen ÇKKV sonuçları kurumsal yönetim derecelendirme notları ve pay senedi getirileri ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu karşılaştırmalar elde edilen sıralamalar ve sıralamayı oluşturan puanlamalar (notlandırma değerleri) üzerinden olmak üzere iki ayrı açıdan yapılmıştır. Çalışmada ayrıca 2014-2018 yıllarına ilişkin ÇKKV sıralamaları ve ÇKKV puanları ile 2019 yılı ÇKKV sıralama ve ÇKKV puanlarının karşılaştırılmaları yapılarak analiz ve değerlendirilmelerde bulunulmuştur. Çalışma sonucunda ÇKKV ile elde edilen sıralama ve puanlamaların sonraki yılları tahmin etmede kullanılabileceği görülmüştür. Bununla birlikte, sıralama ve derecelendirme (puanlama) açısından, hem KYE derecelendirmeleri hem de pay senedi getirileri ile ÇKKV sonuçları arasında çok düşük bir ilişkinin bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study focuses on the analysis and evaluation of businesses' financial performance through the establishment of a model using Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques, which are widely used for ranking, selection, and classification in decision problems. The study includes the application of TOPSIS, ELECTRE, Grey Relational Analysis (GRA), VIKOR, PROMETHEE II, and MOORA as reference MCDM methods, along with the CRITIC objective weighting method. The analysis is conducted on 25 companies traded on the BIST Corporate Governance Index and based on 15 financial ratios (criteria) for the years 2015-2019. The obtained MCDM results of the companies are compared with their corporate governance ratings and stock returns. These comparisons are made from two perspectives: based on the rankings and the scores (grading values) that constitute the rankings. Additionally, a comparison is made between the MCDM rankings and scores for the years 2014-2018 and those for the year 2019 to conduct analysis and evaluation. As a result of this study, it has been determined that the rankings and scores obtained according to MCDM techniques can be used to predict future years. With this, in terms of ranking and rating (scoring), very low correlation was found between both CGI ratings and stock returns with MCDM results.en_US
