| dc.description.abstract | Thıs study was done ın Konya and lts some smail towns (Çumra, Beyşehir, Sarayönü). Sixty sheep from Konya and each smail town were examined monthly between the dates of May. 1994 and May, 1995. The blood samples were taken from each sheep and blood smears were prepared for microscopic examination. In addition. serum sample from each sheep was separated for the seralogic diagnosis of B.ovis by ELISA. The sheep were examıned for tick infestation, and collected ticks were identified by stereomicroscopy. At the results of microscopic examinations of 723 blood smears, B. ovis was diagnosed in 83 (11.47 %). However, B. ovis antibodies were determined serologıcally by ELISA in 295 (42.14 %) of 700 serum samples. According to the result of both serelogic and microscopic examınations, the seasonal prevalance of babesiesis In sheep was highest in July. When the age prevalance of B. ovis ınfestation diagnosed by ELISA and mıcroscopic examinations was evaluated, the highest prevalance (53.9 %) was found at the 1-2 age group. The lowest prevalance (22.14 %) was found in sheep ageing 6-12 months. The results of the collected tick examinations showed that Ah. bursa and Ah. turanicus had the highest prevalance at the da tes of between April and August. There was significant dillerencas (p<0.01) between the results of microscopic and seralogic examinations. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırma Mayıs 1994-Nlsan 1995 tarihleri arasında Konya Merkez, Çumra, Beyşehir ve Sarayönü ilçelerınde yürütülmüştür. Bu çatışmada koyunlarda Babesia ovis enfeksiyonunun teşhisinde mikroskobik muayenenin yanısıra ELISA testi de uygulanmıştır. Kontrol edilen koyunlardan yapılan 723 adet sürme frotinin mikroskobik muayenesi sonucu toplam 83 {%1 1.47) koyun B. ovls yönünden müspet bulunmuştur. ELISA testi ile yapılan serotojik test bulgularına gore ise toplam 700 adet koyun kan serumunun 295 {%42.14) tanesinde B. ovis antikorları tespit adil· mıştır. Seroloıik ve mikroskobik muayene sonuçlarına göre B. ovis enfeksiyonuna en fazla Temmuz ayında rastlanmıştır. Serotojik ve mikroskobik bulgulara göre, B. ovis enfeksiyonu en fazla 1-2 yaş grubundakı koyunlarda, en az ise 6-12 aylık gruptaki koyunlarda tespıt edilmiştir. B. ovis ile enfekte koyunlarda Rhipicephalus bursa ve Rh. turanicusa rastlanmıştır. Bu kenelerın Nisan ve Ağustos ayları arasında aktif oldukları gözlenmiştir. Seroloıik ve mik· roskobık muayene sonuçlarının istatistik analizleri sonucu bu iki metpt arasındaki fark önemli bulunmuştur (p<0.01 ). | en_US |
