dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, tarım kesiminde çalışan 24 kişi, 25 asker, 20 anne ve bebeği, 90 tip öğrencisi olmak üzere toplam 179 kişinin serumunda tetanoz antitoksin düzeyleri ELISA yöntemiyle araştırıldı. 0.01 IU/ml'ye eşit veya daha yüksek düzeyler koruyucu olarak kabul edildi. Sonuç olarak, tarım kesiminde çalışanlarda % 8.3 (2/24), askerlerde % 68 (17/25), doğum yapan anne ve bebeklerinde % 35 (7/20), tıp öğrencilerinde % 53.3 (48/90) oranlarında koruyucu antitoksin düzeyleri saptandı.
dc.description.abstractIn this study, antitoxin levels against tetanus were investigated by Enzyme- linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in the sera of 179 persons composed of 24 farmers, 25 soldiers, 20 mothers and 20 infants of these mothers and 90 medical students. Antitoxin titer levels greater than or equal to 0.01 IU/ml were evaluated as protective. As a result, protective tetanus antibodies levels were found in 8.3% (2/24) of farmers, 68% (17/25) of soldiers, 35% (7/20) of mothers and their infants, 53.3% (48/90) of medical students.
