Özet
Hayvanları koruma ve hayvan gönenci (refahı) kavramlarının, İslam kaynaklarında yer almasına rağmen güncel bir dille topluma takdim edilemediği görülmektedir. Çalışmada, hayvanları koruma ve hayvan gönenci ile ilgili hadislerin belirlenmesi ve Hz. Muhammed'in hayvan sevgisi, bakımı, beslenmesi ve yetiştiriciliği konularındaki davranış modellerinin topluma sunulması amaçlandı. Çalışmanın gerecini İslam Peygamberi Hz. Muhammed'e ait hadisleri içeren ve hadis kitaplarının en güveniliri olarak kabul edilen "Kütüb-i Sitte" oluşturdu. Bu kitapta yer alan hadisler hayvanları koruma ve gönenci açısından incelenerek değerlendirildi. Söz konusu hadisler Türkiye'nin imza attığı uluslararası sözleşmeler ve konuyla ilgili ulusal mevzuatla ilişkilendirilmeye çalışıldı. Çalışmada faydalanılan hadislerden yola çıkarak, Hz. Muhammed'in, hayvanların korunmasını, onlara eziyet edilmemesini, temizlik ve bakımlarının yapılmasını, yaratılışlarına uygun işlerde kullanılmasını, fazla yük yüklenmemesini ve avlanılmamasını tavsiye ettiği açıkça görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak, söz konusu hadislerde yer alan ideal davranış modellerinin Müslüman toplumlarda hayvanları ve onların refahını koruma yükümlülüğü ve bilincinin oluşmasında önemli bir katkı sağlayacağı ileri sürülebilir
It is seen that even if animal protection and animal welfare are the terms used in Islamic sources, these terms are not introduced in a modern language for the society. In this study, it was aimed to determine the hadiths on animal protection and welfare; then it is aimed to introduce these hadiths based on Prophet Muhammad’s animal love, animal nutrition and animal care to the society. The material used in this study was based on “Kutub Al Sittah” that was the most reliable hadith book. Those books were analyzed in terms of animal protection and animal welfare. The issues mentioned in those hadiths were tried to be linked with national and international agreements and legislations. In the hadiths determined in the study, it was clearly seen that Prophet Muhammad recommended people to protect animals, make their care and clean them, use them proper for their creation, load properly and prohibit hunting. Hence, it can be concluded that hadiths make a significant contribution in the formation of responsibility and awareness to Muslim society to protection animals and maintain their welfare
