Özet
Bu çalışma laboratuvarımıza getirilen 7 adet yavru diskus balıklarında (Symphsodon discus) görülen ölüm nedenini be-lirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Doğumdan 20 gün sonra ölümlerin gözlendiği diskus balıklarında dış bakıda solungaçlarda sol-gunluk, mukus artışı, uyuşuk bir şekilde yüzeye yakın yüzme, anormal yüzme davranışları, denge kaybı ve durgunluk göz-lendi. Hasta balıkların solungaç, yüzgeç ve deri bölgesinden kazıntı alınarak hazırlanan preparatlar ışık mikroskobu al-tında incelendi. İncelenen balıkların tümünde Dactylogyrus sp. (Monogenea), Tetrahymena sp. (Ciliata), Vorticella sp. (Ci-liata), Philodina sp. (Metazoa) parazitleri tespit edildi.
This study was carried out to detect the reason of mortalities of 7 Discus fishes (Symphsodon discus) sent to our laboratory. In discus fishes, which death on the 20th day after birth sho-wed pale gills, excess mucus production, lethargic swimming close to the surface, abnormal swimming behavior, balan-ce loss and lethargy. The scrapes of the gills, fins and skin were examined for presence of parasitic fauna under a light microscope. Dactylogyrus sp. (Monogenea), Tetrahymena sp. (Ciliata), Vorticella sp. (Ciliata), Philodina sp. (Metazoa) were identified from all of the examined fishes.
