| dc.description.abstract | Süreklilik arz eden dış ticaret açıkları kriz için önemli bir gösterge olduğundan Türkiye için önemli olmaktadır. Bu nedenle, ithalat ve ihracatı içeren net ihracat fonksiyonunun tahmin edilmesi Türkiye’nin dış ticaret yapısının anlaşılması bakımından önemlidir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin net ihracat modeli tahmin edilmiş, daha sonra da bu model kullanılarak esneklikler hesaplanmıştır. Net ihracatın (1993:1-2002:4) dönemi için tahmin değerlerine göre, ihraç mallarının gelir esnekliğinin düşük, fiyat esnekliğinin ise yüksek olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Bunun yanında hem ithalat, hem de ihracat döviz kuruna karşı duyarlıdır. Global enflasyon oranı ile ülkenin iç enflasyon oranının artması net ihracatın artmasına neden olmaktadır. Ayrıca net ihracat ile üretim arasında negatif, ithal fiyatları arasında ise pozitif bir ilişki bulunmaktadır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The persistence of foreign trade deficit in Turkey is important issue, because high deficit signals crises. Because of this reason, the estimation of net export function which contains both export and import is important in order to understand the foreign trade of Turkey. In this paper, net export of Turkey is estimated, then by using this model elasticities are calculated. The estimation results indicate that, in analyzing net export, income elasticity of export goods are low and price elasticity of export goods are high for the period (1993:1-2002:4). Besides, both import and export are responsive to exchange rate. Increase in global inflation rate and domestic inflation rate lead to increase in net export. Furthermore, there is a positive relationship between production and net export. Finally price of import and net export has a negative relation. | en_US |
