| dc.description.abstract | Turizm sektörü hizmet kalitesi yüksek olan ve insan gücüne ihtiyaç duyan bir sektördür. Özellikle insan faktörünün büyük önem taşıdığı, misafir çalışan etkileşiminin en üst derecede olduğu turizm sektöründe, her açıdan hedeflere ulaşmak için işgücü verimliliğine büyük önem verilmesi gerektiği tartışılmaz bir konudur. Turizm sektöründe yeni ve dinamik bir çalışma ortamının bulunması çalışan faktörünü daha da ön plana çıkarmaktadır. Buna bağlı olarak, turizm ve daha özelde konaklama işletmelerinde çalışan faktöründen en verimli şekilde faydalanabilmek, kariyer planlamasını ve bu kapsamda çalışanların kariyer değerleri ile kariyer yolu tercihlerini dikkate almayı gerektirmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı turizm eğitimi almakta olan öğrencilerin umutsuzluk ve kaygı düzeylerinin sektörde kariyer yapma isteklerine etkisinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Selçuk Üniversite Turizm Fakültesinde turizm eğitimi almakta olan 300 öğrenciye anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplamada nicel yöntemlere başvurulmuş ve elde edilmiş olan veriler SPSS 26 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada öğrencilerde oluşan kaygı ve umutsuzluk duygularının turizm sektöründe kariyer yapma isteklerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda öğrencilerde oluşan umutsuzluk duygusunun ve umutsuzluk ölçeği alt boyutlarından olan gelecek ile ilgili beklentiler ve motivasyon kaybının turizm sektöründe kariyer yapma isteğine negatif yönlü bir etkisinin olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Aynı zamanda öğrencilerde oluşan kaygının da turizm sektöründe kariyer yapma isteğine negatif yönlü bir etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The tourism sector is a sector that has a high quality of service and needs human power. Especially in the tourism sector, where the human factor is of great importance and guest employee interaction is at the highest level, it is an indisputable issue that great importance should be given to labor productivity in order to achieve the goals in every respect. The existence of a new and dynamic working environment in the tourism sector brings the employee factor to the forefront even more. Accordingly, to make the most efficient use of the employee factor in tourism and especially accommodation enterprises requires career planning and taking into account the career values and career path preferences of employees in this context. The aim of this research is to examine the effect of hopelessness and anxiety levels of students receiving tourism education on their desire to pursue a career in the sector. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 300 students studying tourism at the Faculty of Tourism of Selcuk University. In the study, quantitative methods were applied in data collection and the obtained data were analyzed using the SPSS 26 statistical package program. In the study, regression analysis was performed to determine the effect of anxiety and despair feelings formed in students on their desire to pursue a career in the tourism sector. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that the feeling of hopelessness formed in students and expectations about the future, which are one of the sub-dimensions of the hopelessness scale, and loss of motivation have a negative impact on the desire to pursue a career in the tourism sector. At the same time, it has been determined that the anxiety formed in the students has a negative effect on the desire to make a career in the tourism sector. | en_US |
