dc.description.abstractIn this work, N,N'-bis(2-hydroxyphenyl)dithiooxamide (BDOH4), N,N'-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)dithiooxamide (BPDH2) and N,N'-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)dithiooxamide dihydrochloride (BPDH2.2HCl), were synthesized. The complexes of these ligands with Ni(II), Co(II) and Cu(II) were prepared. The structure of the ligands as well as their metal complexes were studied employing H-1 NMR, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis, respectively.en_US
