Özet
Bu çalışmada, Konya Hayvancılık Merkez Araştırma Enstitüsünde yetiştirilen beşer baş İvesi, Akkaraman, Merinos ve Koriedale ırkı koçların (sağlıklı, fertil ve 2-3 yaşlı) kan ve seminal plazma demir (Fe) ve bakır (Cu) düzeyleri araştırıldı. Kan ve semen örnekleri Konya ve çevresi için aşım sezonu olan Kasım ayında 2 gün aralıklarla 4 kez alındı ve elde edilen kan ve seminal plazma örneklerinde Fe ve Cu analizleri atomik absorbsiyon spektrofotometresi ile gerçekleştirildi. İvesi, Akkaraman, Merinos, Koriedale ırkı koçlarda kan ve seminal plazma Fe konsantrasyonları sırasıyla : 155.4016.91 \mu g/dl, 141.65l6.02 \mu g/dl, 172.55l5.04 \mu g/dl, 160.25l2.33 \mu g/dl ve 80.202.65 \mu g/dl, 69.105.64 \mu g/dl, 58.853.01 \mu g/dl, 66.405.14 \mu g/dl olarak ölçüldü. Kan ve seminal plazma Cu düzeyleri ise yine aynı sıra ile : 54.755.43 \mu g/dl, 62.506.69 \mu g/dl, 68.009.47 \mu g/dl, 62.453.40 \mu g/dl ve 47.355.55 \mu g/dl, 37.705.33 \mu g/dl, 32.852.82 \mu g/dl, 33.703.05 \mu g/dl olarak belirlendi. Çalışılan koç ırkları arasında seminal plazma Fe konsantrasyonlarının istatistiksel olarak önemli (p0.05) düzeyde farklı olduğu görüldü. Ayrıca seminal plazma Fe ve Cu konsantrasyonları arasında pozitif önemli (p0.01) korrelasyonun varlığı tespit edildi.
Iron (Fe) and copper (Cu) levels of blood and seminal plasma were investigated in four different breeds of rams in this study. Healthy and fertile (aged between 2-3 years old) Awassie, Akkaraman, Merino and Corriedale rams (5 from each breed, 20 in total) were used as a material. Blood and semen samples were taken 4 times in every 2 days in November. The blood and seminal plasma Fe and Cu analysis were carried out by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The Fe values from blood plasma samples in Awassie, Akkaraman, Merino and Corriedale rams were 155.40±l6.91 \mu g/dl, 141.65±l6.02 \mu g/dl, 172.55±15.04 \mu g/dl and 160.25±l2.33 \mu g/dl, respectively. The corresponding values for the seminal plasma were as follows : 80.20±2.65 \mu g/dl, 69.10±5.64 \mu g/dl, 58.85±3.01 \mu g/dl and 66.40±5.14 \mu g/dl, respectively. The Cu values of blood plasma in the breeds given above with the same order were 54.75±5.43 ug/dl, 62.50±6.69 \mu g/dl, 68.00±9.47 \mu g/dl and 62.45±3.40 \mu g/dl, and of the seminal plasma 47.35±5.55 \mu g/dl, 37.70±5.33 \mu g/dl, 32.85±2.82 \mu g/dl and 33.70±3.05 \mu g/dl, respectively. Seminal plasma Fe values were found to be different among the breeds of the rams (p<0.05). A statistically positive correlation was found between Fe and Cu concentrations of seminal plasma (<0.01)
